What is the new Local Network feature about, what is its purpose, some apps I open I get a pop up saying the app would like permission for local network?

Anyone any idea why I keep getting error code 4000 (Windows 10) when attempting to update through iTunes?

Updated to the latest version of iTunes?

It's part of the new transparency about what Apps are doing, without you knowing before. Some apps you use might use Bonjour, bluetooth, etc to work. Like Plex looking for the Plex server, etc.

Is it better to turn Local Network on or off regarding security and privacy for third party messaging apps

Anyone have an issue with the audible click sound when using a haptic touch on a link or app? I can't seem to turn it off and make it silent. There doesn't seem to be a setting for it that works in sounds and haptics.

Someone else asked earlier. You cannot turn that off individually. It will go off if you put it on silent mode.

I guess it depends. Up to what you feelyou are comfortable with, and if you want to impair the usage of an app.

iOS14 tells you when an app has accessed your clipboard. It’s telling you the app you’re using accessed the clipboard data you have in it from copying from Safari.

I had the same bug. I dont know why it happens but i found a way to update. Download the ipsw file if you haven’t already and update your iPhone manually using Shift+Update button in iTunes.
If you have already downloaded the firmware using iTunes (Windows 10) you can find it at : \Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates

Anybody notice lag when going into screen time now from settings? Seems much slower compared to iOS 13.7.

Mail App - an old bug resurfaces
In 2 column mode showing unread emails oddball read emails show up on refresh.
In this case 5 unread but 2 previously read emails reappear in the Unread view.

I'm enjoying IOS 14 so far, but I really need some advice on how to take advantage of Widgets. I want to use them, but right now I just have a widget stack and some of my most used apps on two screens. I wish we could reorganize the app library, or set it in a way that is like the App Listing on the apple watch. This feels like, once again, Apple is afraid of it's customers customizing things the way they like. Right now I feel like the App Library feature is very disorganized and it will take a while to get used to it.

If you want organized apps, use folders. App Library is what it is and I don't see Apple changing the current design/functionality through iOS 14, and probably beyond.

If I did that, it's basically IOS 13 again. I like changing things up and being a little different, I was just looking at the different alternatives I had.
