Hi. I have several e-mail aliases configured in the email options. But unfortunately the Mail application is sending the e-mails incorrectly.
Let's say I have 2 aliases: A and B.
In the compose window I select alias A, but the message is sent as alias B. If I choose alias B, the message is sent as alias A.

I don't use gmail, I just pasted this picture for an example where this option is.

Hello,
I don't see that anyone mentioned it, but I have very painful bug. When I updated my iPhone XR to iOS 14 I stopped hearing caller on normal mode. When I will turn on speaker or connect headphones then all is fine.

I created even thread on Apple Forums, but no one replied: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251803282

Maybe someone have same problem as I do?

I too have experienced very bad quality of call sound after installing 14. On ear phone is, sound is proper.

I wonder if that's linked to why Apple have pulled the iOS 14.2 beta 1 from the iPhone XR (and 11 and 8th gen iPad). They've not officially said why. It appears to be running well on my 11, as I installed it prior to it being pulled, although thinking about it I may have only made calls on speaker so far.

Since there is mention of iOS 14 and calls on this thread, I have a question, more to confirm normal behavior.

As far as quality goes, I had a call last night before bed, and everything worked normally, so that's not an issue. My question is, are calls on iOS 14, still supposed to be full screen when the phone is locked? I get the little banner when the phone is unlocked, but when it's locked, it's still full screen. Just checking there. Other than this question, things have been fine for me. iPhone 7 Plus / iOS 14.0.

Thanks. Have a great day! I'm loving iOS 14 so far. Feels nice and smooth, and so far, it "just works"
Agreed. I'm really enjoying iOS 14 (and Big Sur). Luckily I have enough free time at the moment to continually re-arrange my icons, widgets, stacks etc. as I keep changing my mind.

It felt a titch quicker on my 7 but my widgets were glitchy and didn’t work even after multiple reboots or would work for a little and quit.

I also didn’t like how Siri talked more when using my air pods pro while running. And a message bubble kept popping up saying they were connected everytime I would wake the screen. And every time I used hey Siri with the AirPods it would wake the screen on the iPhone while running and it doesn’t do that on iOS 13.

And my phone was super warm after being plugged in all night and I don’t have much data on my phone so that freaked me out. I know it wasn’t “indexing” all night because that isn’t a thing unless you GB’s and GB’s of data for your phone to go though. So I went back to 13.7 and I think this may be the pinnacle of iOS for my 7. It just works almost perfectly all the time. I’ll wait till around Christmas to see if 14 is better.

iOS 14 on iPhone 8
Today I was adjusting my widgets in the widget screen and shortly after I noticed that some of my folders disappeared and the apps were all on a single screen. I had to manually place them back in folders. :(
I also noticed that occasionally the lock sound is quite loud but then after unlocking and locking again its normal.
I guess iOS 14 isnt as non buggy as I first thought.

Folder issue - BTDT T-Shirt
A real pain if you have a lot of folders.

Having all kinds of issues with my IPP11 2020 and the Magic Keyboard.
Click in a field and the onscreen kb pops up.
Can be typing away in Messages, Mail, or Safari and the onscreen kb may just pop up
Mouse pad click into the address field in Safari and the onscreen kb pops up.

Crazy thing is I had very little issue - just the sporadic onscreen popup in Messages - in beta 8. Yet in GM all kinds of whacky.
No issue with the Logitech Folio.

Not seeing that on the IPP11 2018 with the magic keyboard.

I am not sure I would consider myself the typical iPhone user these days. I've been using the iPhone since 2010 when Verizon first got it. I've through that time played around with all the different things, playing games, randomly installing and removing apps, playing with Siri, etc..

Now: my typical uses are A phone, (calls, texts, etc) Managing banking and transportation, maybe some health related things, and a little bit of music. I typically don't keep a lot of data on my phones, just because most of what i need can be securely accessed from the cloud. As far as Siri, I prefer Alexa, amazon just offers more as a smart platform. So

My choices there would be:
Alexa
Google Assistant
Siri

My initial reason for getting an iPhone back in 2010 was simply to get the accessibility features I was used to on the Mac for a phone. Flip phones don't offer much in that area. As it turns out within time, Smart features grew on me, so I do use it for more than just a phone. I really like some of apple's changes, but what would matter more to me personally is technology that would actually benefit people such as a vehicle that would help people totally blind, or with enough vision loss unable to get a regular driver's license be able to be more independent without having to always depend on other people.

Occasionally on IOS 14, when I open any app or close a app my iPhone reboots automatically restarts, it's only happened a few times, I think it might be the app crashes which forces the phone to restart, anyone else have this issue, also the native Apple Mail App gets stuck when fetching new emails, I get the circle that spins continously and gets stuck

Hi, I am really satisfied and excited after updating iOS 14. It was an amazing update where all the bugs are fixed. My phone is working at its optimum speed.

Does anyone have a confirmed solution for the wrong caller ID bug or is it an unavoidable bug in 14.0? I can't read 25 pages of this thread, but having read the first few and the last few pages, I didn't see any discussion on it. This just happened to me: It seemed that caller X was calling me, but upon pickup it was caller Y. Caller X was actually the last person to have called me before caller Y. In "recent calls", all was correct, with caller X being second to last and caller Y the last. VERY annoying, if one cannot rely on the caller ID notification. Elsewhere I have seen people report this also..

Sometimes when I open the apple mail app on the bottom of the screen it doesn't display the last time the email were synced.
