How you know it’s today and not tomorrow? Is Big Sur 11.1 coming today as well?
I think 14.3 is today as Fitness+ releases today and requires 14.3. Big Sur 11.1 is required for the new AirPods Max, but they aren't available until tomorrow, so I could see where 11.1 might not release until tomorrow the 15th.

I would be happily surprised if they release a different build of 14.3 than the RC. Defeats the purpose, but possible, I think. Also waiting on Big Sur 11.1 update. Not updating to the RC of macOS since they tend to not go too well. I will only do that once a year when they release the new macOS at WWDC. macOS Big Sur release has been surprisingly bug-free for me, in context of the sweeping changes they have made in this release.

Agreed, you think we get 11.1 today or tomorrow?

If they wait until tomorrow at 10 am PT, there will be many people in Asia, New Zealand, etc. that won't be happy campers as they will have received their Max's long before the release and won't be able to use them with their Mac until 11.1 is released. I'd bet it is released today along with 14.3.

I am hoping for both iOS 14.3 and macOS 11.1 today, considering that hardware that requires both these operating systems will be available tomorrow.
No need to hope as it’s been confirmed that they’re releasing today. Most likely in 15 minutes.

I've been using betas for many years, especially in custom roms on Android, where the RC version was a beta almost for the final release, but the official release never coincides with it, a small final correction was always added. The grace of the GM version is that if it was construction for final release, where it has not coincided only because of the appearance of serious errors, but that has happened on rare occasions. If tomorrow Apple releases a version 14.3 with a build 18C67 or later, for me it means that Appe has signed up to this way of carrying out the development of its operating system, which does not have to be bad at all. The problem is that in the face of a massive release, and being an untested build, depending on the depth of the changes, there is a risk that people will fail things, but obviously this is my personal way of seeing it.
Same build as RC2.
