I don’t think there has been an earth shattering issue affecting a spectrum of users or known so far.
Sometimes there are some backend ones or ones that affect something that might not be as common. The point there is that it's not necessarily a build that is from over three weeks ago that is just sitting there that would be released, it might be something that has some additional more recent changes as well.

How do you know this?
What do you mean how do you I know this? It’s common sense when in their website beta portal and inside their feedback app website it stated enjoy holidays beta submission and apps is suspended happy holidays.?

google did the same things? Why do you think there hasn’t been any updates for apps also ?

People come on, that’s just how it is. Who is going to fix the issues on their time off? When apple is closed for holiday? Who is going to read the feed back issues and fix the bugs?
They were closed for the holidays when they got back Jan 3 they got back to work and started fixing the bugs and issues working in next beta release

Did yoy not use their feed back app for testing? Right before Xmas it said happy holidays all the way till Jan 3 it said that?
When did I deny that?
I am only saying that whatever work is done immediately after holidays will get reflected in beta releases after some time. This will happen because they are ahead by a few versions of beta internally.
Thus the work they do in the week of 4 January immediately after the holidays, will show up in the releases done in week of 18 January of later.

That is no longer the case due to work from home, and COVId

Hard to say one way or another without actually knowing. That said, it doesn't really matter, Apple will release the next beta whenever they feel they are ready using whatever build they feel is appropriate for it.
I never disputed that it matters.
I am only saying that the beta that gets released in the week of 11 January will contain code already frozen before the holidays.

Or could contain some new code, as mentioned earlier. Either way, it will be what it will be.

I’m hoping a new final release this week as my 12 pro max has a few touch screen issues
