A lot of app updates today... Same thing happened last week before the beta dropped. Maybe tomorrow

Theres always a fair amount of App updates, no correlation to a beta release. It’s like saying ‘The sun exists, and it did when the last beta was out’, same level of relevance. ?

But it’s fun to speculate, oh wait this isn’t a speculation thread ?

I actually do think there is a tiny bit of relevance. A lot of the updates are probably to comply with Apple’s new tracking policy. But that is a more general level of coincidence. I don’t think you can read anything into numbers of apps being updated on any particular day. Mondays seem to be big days, probably because apps have been submitted so weekend and they simply get processed on Monday.

Where did I say you can’t speculate? Go on, I’ll wait

All I’m saying is it’s pointless trying to rationalise based on something obviously unconnected.

Way to totally misrepresent me though. ?

We’ve had beta releases when there’s been hardly any app updates too, though.

the tracking policy will mean there are many updates, and Monday’s just seeing app updates from approvals over the weekend, that’s all.

This seems like possibly the dumbest reason to actually ban anyone from an Internet forum. Whoever made that decision must have been on a nerd power trip that day.
Just like any other online forum regarding just about anything and everything, we're all left at the whims of someone who might be having a bad day. I've had some very negative replies from folks here, and my engaging their negativity and anger has only gotten me in trouble, too. Like getting hit with a spitball in class and yelling "Hey!" and then being told by the teacher to go to the principals office for disturbing class.

Funny, though, that someone here feels like they can't speculate on a topic in a forum thread based on speculating...

My 2 alarms didn’t go off this morning. I tried creating a new alarm and that didn’t go off, either. I’ve got DND turned off.. What the heck. I’m also seeing some pretty wonky Safari iCloud Tab syncing going on across all devices (iPhone, iPad, & MBP all on latest beta). Hopefully we do get something a little more polished today.

I say new beta coming today, potentially an RC.
If the event is now not scheduled until early April, and the RC usually launches on the day of the event (or a few days prior), isn't it a little early for a RC? I'm thinking another beta, even though last beta was an "a" build.

As much as I'd like to see one (and would expect there to be one, when taking into account what the rumored devices are...it would be odd NOT to make a big deal about it)...I'm starting to have doubts about a spring event. Two (or was it just one?) rumored dates have come and gone and we are now moving into a time frame where I can't recall Apple ever doing an event. March is slipping away, and I don't think Apple's ever done anything in April, though I could be wrong about that.

Though another part of me thinks there could be something soon (even if it's just a Newsroom release). Think about the spring refreshes of Apple Watch bands. Those usually happen right around now, and there's product announcements/releases that come at roughly the same time.

That's weird...happened to me, also, this morning. I moved my Sleep Wake Up alarm to 5am from its normal 6am and it didn't go off.

I'm thinking we see something in 33 or so minutes today.

Sounds like Apple was trolling a leaker with the "event" that was to occur today or next Tuesday. I'm still expecting to see something in early to mid-April

Or, maybe it's just another video event that's pre-recorded and not live, meaning Apple could drop it whenever they want, right?
