If you exit the update screen and go back it displays properly. It's been doing this for the last several betas.OTA says 14.5…no beta version is mentioned.

No it’s beta 6 an RC doesn’t have the letter at the end and the same build the public get

I'm glad the update didn't show 'til Wednesday. If it had been earlier in the week, I'd already be bored by today.
I do think so. I’m expecting an event on 4/13 with invites going out 4/6. So I’d expect a RC on Tues/Weds next week.
You think there will be a virtual show and not just press releases? I’m wanting a new iPad 11 and can’t wait
I do. They have a lot of stuff rumored to be in the pipeline and they're not just spec updates (so the rumors say!). I can't see them releasing a new product category, like AirTags, with just a press release. Nor can I see them releasing a brand new iPad Pro with a new display technology with just a press release. I think we're going to see an event.
