I've decided I like updating on Tuesdays best, so it should be today.
I can't believe beta 1 came out over 9 weeks ago. We're almost approaching the beta lifespan for a full iOS point upgrade. iOS 14.0 was in beta for just over 12 weeks.
yeah its mad I was thinking that, Tim said it will be out in a a few weeks so we could even see another beta
That was said almost 2 weeks ago. So it's likely we will see a RC this week and public release next week.
From what I read Tim had said it would be out this month so that leaves ample time for a couple more betas. By no means does this imply I think we need more betas as my phone has been fantastic on beta 6.
If I want to get off the Beta train, do I remove my profiles BEFORE installing the RC, or after the RC?
It’s safe enough. But if you’ve held off this long, I’d say hold off until the final release. B6 is pretty stable, so I’d wager an RC sometime this week, if not today. In which case, public release is just beyond the horizon. Just install that.
Unless I am wrong, it is inconsequential. Download the release IPSW and update your phone with it. You can remove the beta profiles before this or after this.

You should have an animated avatar the day of a new release, beta or otherwise, symbolically. I like your avatar and whenever I come across it I feel it needs to be animated.
