Not usually, but spring events are the odd ones out, 2018 and 19 were Monday and Friday.
If the RC and public release are the same build, will the phone ask me to update to the public release again if I remove the beta profile?
This is so frustrating. For once an iOS update has a feature that will massively improve peoples lives (Watch unlock will be amazing in the age of Corona) - yet Apple is taking ages to release it.
Good, glad they are. It needs to be as reliable and bug free as possible. Their track record of releases recently is just a **** storm of crap.

No. The profile looks to build #, so if your current build # is the same as what's available OTA (what's "available", depends on the profile installed, if any), then no update is available.
I think what particularly frustrating about it - is that ideally it should have been in iOS 13.5 - not 14.5

No. You can update with the Profile first and delete it if you dont want to testing anymore betas.
