Wow. You're seeing public beta already? I'm trying here. Still not seeing anything new with PB6 installed.Beta 7…
I’m using a Developer profile though I’m not a developer. But it shows as public most times.Wow. You're seeing public beta already? I'm trying here. Still not seeing anything new with PB6 installed.
We not getting anything this week trust me. Next week with be RC, they are testing entire week all the bug fixes
By the time it’s bug free there will be no need for watch unlock because none of us will e wearing masks .Good, glad they are. It needs to be as reliable and bug free as possible. Their track record of releases recently is just a **** storm of crap.
Agreed, I'm totally glad they're taking their time putting this out. Especially with the tracking stuff, the crew totally needs to make sure they're doing it right. Last thing Apple needs is bugs and rejections based off that, on top of the other crap they introduced.Im happy with beta 7 honestly (i think) they want polished version IOS.
Apple know they screw up 14.0 Release very hard with a bunch of bugs (Mainly Green Tint , Stuttering app switcher).
If it was that important, they could have splintered that code base and place it in a micro revision. Granted, that would totally go against the rules of versioning, but Apple wasn't going to derail the entire beta just to push out mask payments.By the time it’s bug free there will be no need for watch unlock because none of us will e wearing masks .
They could just skip releasing the RC to the public and go straight to public release. As you just said there could be a event for new iPads. And when are those iPads made? And what they are running? So I think apple has already finalized the 14.5 update internally as of now.
Final release or RC today?
Kept you guys in your toes and gave you something to BS about the last 24 hours lol…. Let now all grab a beer and talk about the next release since B7 is here.
I herd rc1 will drop next Tuesday lol

They have been working on iOS 15 for well over a year now, and its successor for a while too. This is getting more betas than most X.0 releases. Hope that means they got all the bugs out. (sigh)
Release candidate next week and general release 4/21? Do they have a parallel team working on iOS 15? By the time this drops, we'll be less than 7 weeks out from WWDC.
Either an event or press releases will be coming next week. Same true for release of 14.5. Nearly 100% lock after reading the following:
Apple’s Find My network now offers new third-party finding experiences — Apple Newsroom
The Find My network accessory program enables users to keep track of their belongings in the new Items tab within the Find My appapple.news
Still time for invites to go out today, even with the beta release. Perhaps beta 7 today, RC on Friday and public release next week.

It’s worth noting that it’s not worth looking at events prior to COVID, as since then they’ve been prerecorded, so they’ve had shorter gaps. So, until that stops, only worth looking at the 2020 events for a guide.

Sadly that's not the case. Apple software release schedule in recent years has shown that they release software based on hardware rather than anything else. The only reason iOS 14.5 has so many betas is just because the event has been delayed for some reason.Im happy with beta 7 honestly (i think) they want polished version IOS.
