Because I posted in this thread before, it's always on top of my threads I posted in section of this site, and usually it's looking forward to the new Betas. Do any of you actually enjoy a IOS beta or is it one of those it's your job to just continually update betas. Personally I find updating the watch kind of inconvenient myself, even though I do look forward to major app updates.

I can't speak for everyone, but I like trying out the new features as soon as they are announced. Updating on the phone and iPad is not difficult, just a little bit time consuming as you wait for the download and preparation to end. The new Watch models are also way faster than they used to be, so no sweat there either. I also like to test as its my way of "paying it forward" for the ability to try these out early.

In my case, this thread remains on top only till another thread does not have a newer post made. After that, the post having newest post comes on the top.
Can you guide how you ensure this thread remains on top of your threads, even after some other threads have posts done after latest posts on this thread.

I use the Posts You've replied to feature under "Your Content". It basically works like your typical forum in itself, where if there are new posts, those threads go to the top. This was was just an observation. It seems like once one Beta is released, people don't enjoy it because another one will be released soon.

What you may not realize is that this particular thread is ALL about waiting for the next beta. As soon as one hits, this thread is designed so people can start guessing (er, speculating!) about what comes next.

There are lots of people who enjoy the betas and post all about them but in the thread designed for that purpose. The current one, about iOS 14.6 beta 2, can be found at https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ios-14-6-beta-2-bug-fixes-changes-and-improvements.2294148/

I’m thinking tomorrow has to be the day. Friday releases aren’t normal so they will probably move to Thursday. We already know we’re on a weekly schedule.

I’m wondering if we were supposed to be on a two-week schedule, but something happened and they had to release Beta 2 early.

With macOS 11.4 Beta 2 dropping this week, I wonder if iOS 14.6 Beta 2 was also supposed to drop this week, but ended up being rushed out last Friday instead.

Just spitballing. Hoping we get Beta 3 tomorrow!

We would have got the emergency patches which were released in the 14.5.1 release last Monday. Apple wouldn’t have wanted to stick to the original beta schedule with these security fixes.
