The other dynamic here is the imminence of WWDC. Will all the engineers preparing for sessions and labs have an impact? We shall see!

We are only about 10 days from iOS 15 Beta 1. 😀
It really does sneak up on ya.

For the first time in as long as I can remember, I'm on the official release train. I haven't decided whether I'll jump on 15 during the first beta run but the draw of new features will likely be too strong for me to ignore.

You likely will, because there will be that one thing that you will ache to try immediately. Happens with me. And because I suggest you should come here and ask us if the apps that are most important to you are running on the iOS 15 beta, and if they are, I am reasonably sure you will play with it for a while even if you roll back in a few hours. The members here will have your back, as far as apps critical to your workflow are concerned, so that you do not get on the train blind.

I’m certainly not jumping ship to iOS 15 for a good long while. The abortion that has now become Apple’s software ain’t worth the hassle. I could crap better code they are coming out with lately!

I’m gonna let y’all be the guinea pigs on this ride!

I've got my fingers crossed that there will be something there to make the jump worth it.

It's shocking to me how a few people around here (not you) continue to "suffer" with iOS despite how badly they hate it. There's like two people that do nothing but cry about battery life that, despite the ignore feature, continue to clog up these threads. Too bad the MR team can't come up with a nuclear ignore feature that would remove all trace of a member, including any replies to them.

Wonder what to expect in 15 minutes.

Now that I doubt. I suspect we'll see a few more 14.7 betas before its released. I wouldn't even rule out a 14.8 at this point.

exactly. We had a couple of 13.x releases between WWDC and 14.0 public release. No reason not to expect iOS 14 to have 1 or more point releases before iOS 15 public release.

Exactly. iOS 15 does not come out till September, so the average i-Device will still live with one of the i-OSs till then. It makes sense we will have till 14.8 at least. Personally for me, I will get the iOS 15 beta and stay on it if I can live with it. My phone use is not very demanding, so I can live with some bugs.
