Honestly, the list I have is pretty short. I'm hoping we're at the point where battery life starts to get better. Also currently having an issue with my calendar syncing between my beta devices and my MacBook which is not on a beta. It's an issue that I have had basically every year during testing.

Other than that, and this is not critical to me at all, but I'm wondering if the update to the TestFlight icon is a sign of icon changes to come. Wasn't it iOS 11 where we started seeing icon changes at roughly this point in the beta cycle? Can't recall if it started earlier or not.

All of these are #1's for me and I sincerely hope they are resolved in DB5 (hopefully this afternoon!):

  1. Fix the disappearing keyboard when using share sheet
  2. Fix auto-capitalization of random words "the", "to", "you", etc. when using the swipe feature in the keyboard
  3. Fix the missing haptics and sounds for notifications during a call
  4. Fix camera focus issue when attempting to open camera while AirPods are connected

Are the new features being added to the Airpods like spatial sound, device switching, etc... being added in the beta at some point? Or is that something we won't see until public release?

depends on what mood Timothy Cook is in, judging by what’s happening with epic, chances don’t look good. 😂

thanks! You just made me realize it’s when AirPods are connected! (Point 4) Was driving me crazy!

Unclear. I’m sure there’s was something for AirPods that came with GM, or on release via a firmware update, last year. I’m having a senile moment to remember exactly.

I thought spacial sound was already available? Seems on my airpods pro it is.

There are threads of people all saying it’s not enabled yet, same as automatic switching.

There was only one firmware release since iOS 14 came out and there’s nothing confirming that had the spatial audio or automatic switching was part of it.

It won’t be in a beta release, it will be a separate firmware release for the AirPods, which may be distributed within the Beta period.

Betas have been pretty good for me up until this most recent release but I was nailed several times by the VK bug last night while trying to sign up for an HBO Max trial to watch Seth Rogan's pickle movie. Pretty obnoxious. Then this morning while sitting in my car drinking my coffee, reading the news and enjoying my last few mask-free moments of the day my phone got extremely hot just under the camera module. I cranked up the AC and held it in front of a vent while I finished reading which worked great but that's a problem. I've also had quite a few instances of "Passcode is required after phone restarts" throughout the day so I'm just overall ready.

So..... today. Please.

Can someone please explain what that bug is/does. I am not sure I am experiencing it.
