iOS 15.2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Does anyone know whether the issues with geofencing have been addressed in the RC? Geofencing for my Google Nest thermostat is not working properly anymore ever since upgrading to iOS15.

Anyone knows why randomly the address bar changes fo this weird grey colour? I have to rotate my phone to landscape and back to restore the colour back to normal. Already tried disable the tinting option in Safari.

I think this is still buggy.. my August lock only works 80 percent of the time. I have to have the app open when I leave my home for it work when I arrived back home to activate the Auto Unlock feature

I’m experiencing an annoying issue: when using the iPhone, and then you put it far from the face quickly, several times the screen just goes black and then you need to go FaceID again. Not sure what triggers this behavior, but this often happens when I’m in an app / page typing for some time and then I put the iPhone a little far to look for the “submit” or “post” button and the screen goes black…
 
Day 1 battery update. 13 Pro on Spectrum Mobile. Usage through the night again, this time it’s 1 minute of Home Screen & display each hour 0100-0600.

A different, but maybe related, issue is one I have where the Home app stops being able to see any of my Hue lights. The Hue app itself always works perfectly, but I end up having to goggle WiFi off/on for the Home app to suddenly realise the Hue app is still there. And then, a few hours later, it stops looking for it again.
 
I’ve noticed that the Items that Can Track Me option in Find My Items tab is no longer available in the release. I’m assuming everyone else does not have it either. Can someone confirm?
 
I’m having the issue where Google maps freezes in CarPlay when I leave the app. This had been fixed and now it’s broken again.
 
Do you know if Music still draining the battery on this RC2? How about battery life? Thank you, I’m considering updating all my devices to 15.2 but still not sure.
 
There is one other thing that has changed in this iPhone 13 series only beta - character count in Messages now works again.

Had reported it, it would always be 0/0 since last two-three versions, and is fixed in this 19C57 version.

Dang, I’ll have to hold a bit more to update my 2018 iPP11. And it’s becoming a pain because I got so used to the tab groups so quickly, I cannot live without this feature on all my devices.

I see nothing at all for the CC, not even 0/0 on my 13PM. In fact, thinking about it, I don’t remember the last time I did see it. Just something else that no longer works on 15 for me.

Do you have character count turned on in Settings?

Character count only shows for SMS, I've not used SMS for over a year tho, as either iMessage,Whatsapp or Facebook Messenger for my contacts now.
 
Is it possible that the issue is back that MagSafe wallet cannot be added to Find My? With and without my Clear Case, I cannot connect my wallet to Find my. I only get a haptic feedback and cannot add it in the Find my app. It is only searching endless.

Same boat.
Never paid attention to it in the last year +.
Have it turned on in Settings>Messages>CharacterCount but it doesn’t show up at all in Messages.

This includes sending SMS to Android contacts.

Hey bud, the public version launched today. Same build as RC1 on all devices, minus the 13s. I know it is not super obvious here yet but it did. I have the update now without the beta profile.

Apparently it is not really common. Have you had this issue yourself? I have elected not to go to 15.2 because of this issue reported.
