I have to agree, I have been running 15.3 beta 1 for about 12 hours now and it seems like everything is running great !! (Knock on wood) notifications are working flawlessly.. Only thing I have not tested that was crap on 15.2 was the geo-fencing of a few apps I have .. testing them later today, one that simply never worked right was my August home lock system..?

So far, so solid.
Feels like 15.2 but better. Really happy on my 12.

And worst case, just do the old finder, Alt + update button IPSW 15.2 back on - data not touched ??.

This used to work for me, but now doesn't. I don't get a pop to select a file anymore, almost like its unresponsive. Running 12.2 MacOS Beta

Regarding WIFI calling… iOS (for me) has always been iffy on maintaining it on. I have to go to Cellular->Cellular Data Options->Voice & Data->and select 4G… then WIFI calling turns back on and I can pick LTE again. It’s a crappy workaround and if cell signal gets strong enough, it’ll turn back off.
(I didn’t know how to quote a post from a previous thread @drak22 )

To quote something from a previous (or other thread), I just hit the reply button to that post, copy what appears (the whole {quote}user name, blah blah, blah {/quote} thing) and paste into a fresh post where you really want to reply.
You can actually just use the quote button and it copies the code for you. Then when in another thread "insert quotes" will apply it to the current thread you are in. Found this by mistake a while ago when replied to the wrong thread because had several quotes stacked up and some were from a different thread. :)
Ughhh… why do I do this to myself? 15.2 is definitely not perfect but I was ready to roll with it and debark the beta train for a while. You guys are not helping.
I know right! But I am remembering one of the beta 1's all was roses initially then it puked and turned for the worse (maybe on a b2 or so) can't remember exactly. Made me glad I stayed away.

Annoying as this might sound, I’ve not run into any issues with WI-FI calling. It’s turned on and stays on. Used airplane mode, all reactivates after Wi-Fi connection is made. The only time I’ve needed to go near the setting is after a network reset. I have 1 bar cellular in my house, so rely heavily on Wi-Fi calling daily for work.

Calls have been great, no drops… all been smooth sailing. This all stands from as far back as ios 15 for me.

I don’t know if that’s down to only using IPSWs and after any install, a network reset or what. ??
No, if they are not deactivated in the settings, it is as if the service was down, but it is not down because the rest of the iPhone at home with ios 15.2 work without problems. So far it has not happened again, I attribute it to the degradation of the modem version, an unusual thing on the other hand.

Unfortunately I’m still having high Siri battery usage even with “hey Siri” turned off. I’m at 78% on my 13PM with 2h 16m SOT.

10 hours and I still have 75% battery life left. I am getting some really amazing battery out of this new beta update! Let’s hope it keeps up!

I’ve got the 15.3 OTA downloading now. I think I’m a beta addict. It barely even takes a nudge and my non-beta life has been thrown out the window. Full steam ahead on this beta train!

Yes but ….

I am seeing sporadic times in low light were it hunts for the right brightness level.
Not sure what is up with this.
13PM

I’ve noticed that a lot of times it’ll make my screen as dim as possible and I have to turn it up a bit

Finally a good ios version!
Everything smooth as butter and compared to the 15.2 the following issues on my side were fixed:

Locations services now works great, no more event that are not fired when inside an area or location.

Carplay issues all of them fixed, now i can launch spotify on carplay without having got to open it also on mobile phone.

Music battery drain fixed.

Findmy battery drain fixed.
Wifi calling issues that makes my voice robotized, fixed too.

And also, battery life seems incredible, this is the best ios so far.

The unique thing that is not fixed is the brightness dim sensor, which works crazy

Yep. I am with you. Hopefully they don’t fix the improvements
