There will always be bugs no version is gonna be bug free and everything perfect it’s just not the case (...)
I fully agree.
Complex software without bugs just doesn't exist - not even in rocket science / space exploration, where the most effort is put in eliminating as many bugs as possible.
(...) 15.2 is pretty good and stable (...)
I fully disagree.
The fact that bugs are inevitable does not at all lead to the conclusion that bugs like those known in 15.2 are acceptable somehow. Of course this depends strongly on personal preferences - but for me a version eating up battery life when using the onboard music app plus additional flaws has not even left early beta stage and is for sure not mature enough to serve as a daily driver of my central digital devices which I rely on.
(...) at least some new features or eye candy would have been nice
Well - here we are at personal preferences. For me, adding new features and eye candy at the expense of those features partially not being operational and even more, causing regression bugs on many of those features which have been performing nicely before (...as Apple's big releases always did in the last years) is of no use and degrades the usability of the devices instead of upgrading it. Therefore still quite comfy on 14.8.1 - and will stay there until 15.3 at the very least, updating only to be considered if 15.3's stability is considerably stronger than insufficient 15.2.

Hate to break it to you, but 15.2 and 15.3 are sufficiently stable for anyone’s use.

Since iOS15 the touschreen is quite unresponsive. Sometimes I have to tap on icons/elements twice before it works. Gestures fail often too.

Can someone actually confirm, it's fixed in iOS15.3 Beta 1?
Not got this issue, as far as I know, they fixed it in 15.1 I think. Hardware issue?

I don't think so since older iPhones/iPads are affected by it too. Someone reported the replacement got the same issue.

Well, that's your personal opinion, not fact.
If you would make the effort to read some of the postings around here and really understand which experience people have, you'd clearly see that stability is sufficient for some, but surely not for anyone.

So I really do not get your point. What are you trying to tell me - that I'm wrong, because I have my own experience and do not just share your experience? That all the people around here who are perceiving the current stability of iOS 15 as an obstacle to their daily digital life - and who are capable enough to see which of their problems originate from OS stability - are on the wrong path because they prefer more stable software?

I understand that individuals are having issues during this journey with iOS 15 and everyones experience may differ but the majority that has downloaded 15.3 beta 1 have had a improved experience over 15.2 including the Apple Music, battery life and overall speed.. for me this has been the best release thus far only thing for me is AB gets a little over zealous in a dark room but I think its trying to learn the correct level its just a tad too dark for me but besides that its been rock solid I used my 13PM all day yesterday as normal and I’m still at 72 percent, charged my phone over 24 hours ago..very happy

I agree with gwhizkids. As you can/have read on this forum and the previous from the regulars, it is stable enough for most users.

And he didn't say you were wrong by the way, but that would explain the tone of the reply. All friends on here buddy with a shared common interest 👍🏼

15.2 and now 15.3 B1 is solid on my IP12.

I spent over 1000 bucks for reliable phone because I was annoyed of Android bugs and after few years here we are again. iOS 15.2 is a piece of trash for me.

Some examples:
  1. Lagging AppStore,
  2. bad performance of home screen (animations),
  3. touch issues,
  4. missing keyabord in spotlight after unlock the phone,
  5. wrong number of home pages when using Focus (small dots on homecreen),
  6. bad RAM management after few days of heavy use I have to restart the phone,
  7. sharing page doesnt show up (I have to restart the phone.),
From my perspective there is ton of work on iOS 15. I am using iPhone 12 Pro. I came back to this forum because I did update to iOS 15 and I am mad on Apple.

FRAK!!!!
IPP11 and Magic Keyboard.

The bloody onscreen keyboard appearing when I click into a text field is back.
Grrrrrrrr

Just interested, have you tried a restore? Or set up as a new phone just to see if those issues persist without using a back up?

Sounds brutal what your reporting, I can’t relate to any of those except the App Store. But that seems better on 15.3 B1. - ip12.

Same here. Apart from the lagging on App Store (better for me on 15.3b1) I never got the other issues…

I’m still not getting Apple News notifications reliably when News is added to Notifications Summary

I have the same issue with ios 15.2 on my iphone 7.
It is a known problem to apple as i saw it listed at apple feedback app and not resolved.
On ios 14.8 i didnt have this issue.
If its resolved on beta 15.3 i would hapilly install it.

Thanks for the feedback!
I tested 15.3 and unfortunately the problem still persists. It was better with 15.2, so I'm reverting back right now.
Even switching between homescreen pages just worked 80% of the time.

First time I would actually be glad if this was just an hardware issue. Could just get a replacement and everything would be fine but not if it's a software bug.

Well Messages is back to running constantly in the background overnight when charging. That tells me whoever suggested it was something to do with iCloud is probably right. At least it’s only when I’m charging overnight.

I noticed on 15.2 messages was running for a couple hours last night. I was hoping 15.3 fixed this issue. Currently not using iCloud so something else is triggering this background usage.

Where have you been for the past two years? Screen freeze with Contacts, Messages, keypad, and a couple of other areas in iOS software non-beta. In fact, at some point, Apple may file for a patent on screen-freezes on the iPhone. It doesn't happen on my M1 iPad, but it sure does it a lot on my iPhone 7 and iPhone 12 Max. ✌️
