First impressions of 15.3b1 are excellent. I haven't encountered any bugs yet and the system overall feels much more refined. I definitely see what Zollotech is saying about apple refining 120 Hz animations.

I think Reachability is still 60 Hz though?
He is wrong like many times, there is zero changes to promotion I have been comparing them a lot and it’s the exact same, the things that are not using promotion like reachability are still not fixed and there is nothing smoother from 15.2 ro 15.3 the problem is most people hear someone say it’s smoother then the placebo takes over them and they think it’s smoother lol the only way to make things smoother and quicker is to lower the animation settings so they are shorter and apple never does that; it’s the same

Where have you been for the past two years? Screen freeze with Contacts, Messages, keypad, and a couple of other areas in iOS software non-beta. In fact, at some point, Apple may file for a patent on screen-freezes on the iPhone. It doesn't happen on my M1 iPad, but it sure does it a lot on my iPhone 7 and iPhone 12 Max. ✌️
On Android while getting told how stable iOS is running.
A friend of mine has screen freezes too but mine is working great except for the touchscreen that randomly doesn’t register inputs.

I tap on an icon and see how it gets highlighted but nothing is happening. Or swiping left and right fast, fails sometimes

iOS is relatively stable or predictable in the collective but only based on a 'good enough standard.?‍♂️ As a former multi-decade Apple fanatic, there was a period when Apple product QC standards were simply higher.
No plans to switch camps at this point, but I do find the Pixel 6 Pro with Android 12 to be interesting.

That’s what I’ve heard too.
Let’s hope it will get better soon.

Yeah the differences between iOS and Android are getting smaller.

But Android 12 still has a Bluetooth bug and a few design choices are weird.
Pixel 7 could be more interesting because the Pixel 6 is Googles first try with their „own“ SOC which is just a littler faster than the Pixel 5 but still slower than the Pixel 4. Finger Print Sensor isn’t the best.
Still great phone tho especially the AI.
There are definitely a few things I miss about Android. Small things like it doesn’t put Screenshots, downloaded pictures etc. in the same folder. We should at least be able to filter them out.
Just switched from the Pixel 5 btw.

Hey, one question. Is the storage bug solved in 15.3? If not: When you reboot your device, the storage reveals the real storage left? It is pretty important for my worlflow to be aware of the remaining free space on my iPad

Well, those were actually two questions.

It has fixed it for both my 13 ProMax and IPP 11 2020.
However there are some people still seeing the issue.

I wonder if the placeholder text showing means there will be more data for AirPods in the future?

Couldn’t resist… jumped on the train AGAIN. And as always… Apple does something with their betas… they are more fluid, better batterytime etc. And when RC comes out it’s back to normal. It’s a shame, really.

15.3 B1 is f*cking brilliant! This is how it’s supposed to be! No bugs for me as of now

Great! How long since you installed it?
