Yeah I’ve had betas on both. Beta on phone but release version on watch. “Sometimes” you need both to have the beta to allow for a certain feature but if your happy to wait for the final release on the watch, you can.

Personally I’d wait though for the watch redesign this year. iPad iPhone square sides, bigger screen, flatter. Battery life will be improved…
Since it's going to be an early birthday present, they don't want to wait. there is also an offer, and they want to take advantage of it. So for now I will keep the watch in the stable version, I have enough with the beta on the iphone haha
I have also seen that you cannot easily get out of the betas on the clock, so I prefer not to mess too much with it.

Just realised it was out last week! Didn’t expect it so soon
There is no way to promise this but as of lately, usually the public beta comes out 1 day after the dev beta is released. The only times this has usually not happened is if the dev beta had an issue that causes apple to delay the public beta launch.

Thanks for that. Wasn‘t really expecting it on a Friday given it’s then the weekend.

Is this SharePlay button new? Haven’t seen it before so I assume so. It popped up when I long pressed a photo in the Apollo app. It bothers me probably way more than it should that the button is going off the edge of the screen. ?

Edit: Just now read the Macrumors article about this update and it’s mentioned there. Whoops.

incredibile, 16 pages of thread and only me having got airpods issues on outbound calls

Everyone’s phone and software configuration is different. That leads to different impacts from the OS changing. This is a big reason Apple runs the beta program. That allows it to get much more data than if they simply ran it internally.

But it stinks when you’re the one with the problems, to be sure.

Plus Apple did say it wasn’tall the time.

Seems like running fast.com in Safari causes it to use too much memory… the browser starts becoming unresponsive and other tabs need to reload from memory. The actual FAST speed test app crashes after a few seconds as well and causes other apps in memory to reload from scratch. Sent feedback

I think I saw someone else saying this also, having terrible reception with this modem configuration there are a few places on my drive and at my work it was spotty but now its complete gone for a few minutes of my drive, I reset network settings and it didn’t help .. may have to return to 15.3, but giving it a couple of days and make sure its just not a t-mobile outage in that area

I am using tmobile and Verizon and reception has gone down the tubes compared to 15.3. Network reset did nothing for me as well!

I’m on Visible so essentially Verizon and have had the same issue this morning. At first I thought it was NextDNS but there was no service at all. Tried resetting network settings and that didn’t work. The entire Settings app just stuck and the phone became unresponsive. Had to force restart and reset the network settings again.

Really tempted to revert to 15.3 but figured I might as well give it a couple more days for beta 2 to see if that fixes it.
