I am now able to add my Covid Certificate from Switzerland in both Health and Wallet.
Thanks for that. I was assuming they'd update automatically but I had to delete the existing certificate and re-add it before it verified and added itself to the wallet.

I’m going to wait for beta 3. Judging from the comments Beta 1 and 2 seem extremely rough around the edges. Don’t get me wrong, I want to help to find and report bugs, but this Beta seems like the most unstable iOS Beta in a while.

I am thinking about jumping on the beta train again, but I've been scared off by some reports of bad reception and slow cellular data performance.

Does anyone here have slow data performance on 4G/5G with 15.4 beta 2? Or is it only related to iCloud Photos uploads as someone reported? Are voice and facetime calls stable?

I just ran a Speedtest and that seems to confirm what you are seeing.

With my lousy 1-2 bars of 5G at home, I was seeing 20Mbps down, but only .02 Mbps up. If that ratio holds true even in better 5G environments, that would explain the slow photo uploads.

Au contraire. Having almost no issues here. Don’t use this forum/thread as your guide. Its a datapoint but only one.

For you.

But your experience is clearly not the same as mine or many others here, who are not having significant issues. Yet you counseled people to skip this cycle.
I simply gave my advice to that one user I was quoting based on firsthand experience.

You took it upon yourself to become King of this thread and decide what I meant.

Get over yourself.

I've never run a speedtest before on mobile data so I don't know how it compares to not being on a beta, but:

iPhone 11.

So far, so good on my 13PM. I haven't been able to test the CarPlay woes extensively yet, but being able to hit the back button and have it actually function is already an improvement.

Is the public beta out yet? There is no way to tell from the wiki post and it is not being offered to me under software update.

So I’ve filed a ton of reports for the 13PM with T-Mobile 5GUC data connections being poor to extremely bad. But the last and this beta seems to have fixed it. The only thing is photos uploading to iCloud. Wi-Fi works great. Cellular just hangs.

Always reset network settings after new beta !! .. seems to do something I had LTE and lower numbers up and downloads at home ,after reset I now have 5Guc and double the speeds ..🤔

Makes me wonder exactly what is happening.

I used to OTA for betas and ipsw on release. Reset activity was seldom done. Yet now more and more an ipsw and some kind of Reset is becoming more and more common to get basic functionality for each beta.
What changed?

I always update IPSW, I don’t do OTA anymore since I seemed to have more issue for me when I do OTA, but I seem to get more reliable connectivity and higher speeds when I reset network settings after a hour or so..not sure why but I measured it after I installed beta 2 and I saw a slight bump in speed and went from showing LTE to 5Guc.. Airplane mode may do the same thing but its just what I do now after seeing better results then doing nothing …

I just tried resetting network settings and had no discernible improvement. Seems worse on 5G than LTE. But I won’t know for sure until I am in a better cell area. Signal at my house is weak. Usable but not good for testing this issue.

And you do have the Beta Profile installed, right? Which you’ll need to have when the public beta is released.
