10 days usage if you don’t use your phone after midnight. ?Battery life is looking pretty good after doing the clean install of 15.4 and not restoring from backup.

Yep, got one of them little suckers on my key ring. ? hasn’t come in handy yet, waste of $45. ?Do you have AirTags setup? @LFC2020
It's a common complaint among AirTag users.
Tim Cook is ????Takes about 2-3% in a 24 hr period but about a 100% during certain hours overnight. Weird!
Been doing it this way for years. I think this started with iOS 12 when screen time came along and they did away with the standby and usage times.10 days usage if you don’t use your phone after midnight. ?

That every much sounds like you have Silence Unknown Callers enabled.Has anybody else been experiencing issues with receiving phone calls when using CarPlay? I basically get no caller screen, notification or anything and only find out after my drive that I missed a call or two. I'm not using any focus mode while driving.
Something doesn’t sound right. ?So I updated yesterday to 15.4 from 14.8.1 and whenever I lock and charge my phone the cpu is pegged to nearly 100% and the phone is very warm to the touch. Ive been keeping it plugged in nearly all day because I'm guessing its indexing?! Is this correct or do I have a bad install? I just want it to end! whenever I take it off the charge the cpu drops back down to 5-10% like it should... Could it really be indexing this long?
I just rebooted it again. Going to leave it on the charger for awhile again and check if its still hot.Something doesn’t sound right. ?
Have you tried doing a force restart?
I always restart my phone after a install.
What’s your battery health at?
Doubt it’s still indexing.
See how you go after rebooting your device, if that didn’t clear out the cobwebs, might be a dodgy install.I just rebooted it again. Going to leave it on the charger for awhile again and check if its still hot.
Battery health is at 85% battery fine.
Everything was fine and dandy on 14.8.1 until I updated through my Mac yesterday.
I just wonder if indexing is real? I wish Apple would tell us not to get worried and that it’s normal for our phones to be working overtime all night for a few nights or that it isn’t abnormal to wake up to a very warm device.See how you go after rebooting your device, if that didn’t clear out the cobwebs, might be a dodgy install.
A lot of different opinions on this topic. ?♂️I just wonder if indexing is real? I wish Apple would tell us not to get worried and that it’s normal for our phones to be working overtime all night for a few nights or that it isn’t abnormal to wake up to a very warm device.
I’ve gone down the google search rabbit hole where some swear the iPhone indexes after a major update and some day it doesn’t. I’d really like to know which is what!

I don't, and in no way would it only apply when using CarPlay I think? That every much sounds like you have Silence Unknown Callers enabled.
Try forget this device in iPhone bluetooth settings, then delete your paired iPhone on your car head unit, then pair your phone again.I don't, and in no way would it only apply when using CarPlay I think?
If it just happens while on charge then it’s probably performing other functions like processing faces in photos, iCloud backups and other on-device AI. There are functions that iOS performs while only plugged in as they’re resource intensive and it sounds like that’s what you’re experiencing right now.So I updated yesterday to 15.4 from 14.8.1 and whenever I lock and charge my phone the cpu is pegged to nearly 100% and the phone is very warm to the touch. This morning it was still warm but much less warm so maybe by tomorrow morning it will be back to ice cold. Could be another couple days before it completely settles down.
Gave up on auto updates a long time ago.13PM and IPP11
App Store
Still buggy (auto update) as all get out. Stuff back as far as Mar 16 for IPP11 and Mar 18 for 13PM.
Wish they would fix this.
It’s really bizarre because in my experience automatic updating of TestFlight apps pretty much always seems to execute perfectly…not so much for those from the App Store itself.Gave up on auto updates a long time ago.
Manually update my apps from now on. 😁
