Did you ask Siri to write that? I imagine that's how it'd write.

I think CarPlay is having some issues. All of my Apple Music is downloaded to my iPhone and I play it with my wired connection in my car. Since the beta, songs will play for a few seconds and then stop and I get the spring icon like it is buffering even though I am playing downloaded songs, not streaming. If I skip to the next song, it starts to play and then seconds in does the same thing.

Just FYI.

Hope everyones been reporting there bugs and suggestions! 😜

Actually can-not waaaaaaaiittttt for beta 2.

So excited. 7 more sleeps 👏🏻

You never know, might be today or tomorrow, too early to tell. haha.

My apologies, I thought we were in that thread, I was catching up on threads I post in, and don’t fully pay attention to the thread, just responded to the post.

to be fair, my post was not entertaining further discussion.

Minor things going on. When I first downloaded the beta I couldn’t get rid of apps on my home screen. sould delete then reappear. Restarting fixed this. Also closing apps was buggy and a restart fixed this. FaceTime croaked on me one time when I tried to minimize and do other stuff. Hasn’t been an issue since. It’s been very usable for me. I haven’t updat3d my phone or watch… but think I may . Still haven’t decided

I can only speak for old hardware buy my air2 seems to be okay. Safari was a crashing mess the first couple of days but calmed down since, I am thinking it was the icloud relay that was causing safari to break prior. Otherwise, seems pretty stable, no complaints thus far. Battery life is just as good, if not better than 14.6 for reference.

So, I've set up a "Work" Focus on my iPad. Created a special "Work" home page with a mix of widgets and apps (this is where the having multiple "instances" of apps on home screens comes in handy).

Pretty slick. Once (if???) the widgets update timely, this will be a very useful tool.

I also set it to share across devices. What is supposed to happen on my iPhone? Just limiting notifications? I thought it might replicate the home page I set up on my iPad onto my iPhone (to the extent possible), but it did not.

Has anyone found traces of the COVID-19 vaccine certificate option? Went through the Health app and found no traces of that feature. Probably being added in a future beta since the EU certificate is officially "live" july 1st.

I assume that it'll be a separate app. That's what we have in Switzerland.

Bug with the disappearance of Siri suggestions.
1. Enter something in the search
2. Lock the screen
3. Unlock and open the search

No, it's supposed to be part of the Health app (way to store vaccine records). It's listed on the full iOS 15 feature page and there is also a screen floating around (which I have issues finding again, but I've seen it).

This is in the blog post by Apple:

  • In iOS 15, users worldwide have an additional option for storing medical records of immunizations and test results directly in the Health app. Now, even if a vaccine provider or medical location doesn’t currently support the Health Records feature, it can allow patients to download verifiable COVID-19 vaccination or test result records from an online browser or QR code, so they can easily access them at any time.
Found it in the developer video outlining changes to Health records:

The screen above happens when you import a *.smart-health-card file or scan a QR code for one, it's available internationally (not just limited to the US / Canada / UK, where Health Records are available).

You are referring to NTFS volumes? Or any file system you can connect?
NTFS or ExFAT. If it is an Apple format it works reasonably well, but it would be so nice to have an eject icon to safely eject. Then I could use a cross platform format.

I have a home screen widget "stack" with Maps, Outlook and Forecast Bar. I have turned OFF both smart rotate and widget suggestions—but it insists on switching to Maps on its own.

Mine does this too. I found it pauses the song so I just have to press the volume mute (which is pause on my steering wheel controls)

I’m not having this issue. The only CarPlay issue I’m having is the order/sorting of icons being reset each time I connect. I’m having no issues listening to any downloaded Apple Music.

Before I share this, because I know some smart a**e will love to jump on me about this, I know this might be old, but believe it or not, I’ve never put a folder in the dock - didn’t know that was possible so sharing it as a “might” be improvement on 15. Hope that fits into the right category for some people on here, don’t want more toys thrown out the pram 🙄

what I was trying to create in this process was a mirror like set up, style, that iPad has with its App Library folder in dock.
