In app purchases.

With Dev beta 2.5, a number of apps (did some experimenting after I found this) will tell you already purchased when you attempt to make an in app purchase. Working with a couple of different devs trying to id the issue.

Weather app raindrop bouncing animation really is something to do with text size in default setting. Pls set your text size in default you’ll see the raindrops bouncing. Pls try it. And of cos the devices needs to be A12 and above
Ah, so that's why it's a lovely sunny day here, without a cloud in the sky. My 6S isn't powerful enough to summon the rain.

if you set to the smallest? is there still animation?
No, if you want to see raindrops bouncing animation effect, you have to set to default which is the center. If you adjusted to below or higher than center, you can only see raindrops but without droplets bouncing animation

MAPS is it me or have they binned off the sound options where you could set the nav voice to low, normal, loud???

Normally it was in the card at the bottom that popped up with options.

It’s gone…I guess they felt it was redundant since most people adjust via the volume knob in newer cars or even with the phone rocker

Simply wait for a voice command from Maps and adjust.

Did I see in here that others are experiencing an inability to open apps using the drop down Siri search functionality? I type in an app name and all sorts of other stuff comes up but not the app.

This is happening to me as well. The only app that will appear for me is the most recent app I installed, QuikTrip app. 🤔

yeah that’s what I’ve been doing. But I liked my music loud and her voice quiet. Her voice was more of prompt to check the phone for the direction.

anyway, I’ll miss that. But thanks for your reply buddy 👍🏼

Swipe up or down with 2 fingers in maps

This doesn’t work in satellite view on my phone. I have to choose explore view then swipe with 2 fingers, and once 2D icon shows I can switch back to satellite view and be in 3D.

Also, In this 3D “satellite” view tapping the now visible 2D icon only changes angle to look similar to satellite view instead going back to true satellite view which is usually more up to date with construction & so on. I have to quit maps and restart it to get back to true satellite view.

I do like that maps is keeping my selection of using satellite view as a default instead of having to constantly switch to it (at launch it still quickly shows explore view before changing to satellite), but for now in beta using satellite view and wanting to look at something 3D and then back to regular satellite view is just kind of a pain.

I also don’t see why the maps used with Find My and Messages still doesn’t allow tapping business icons to see what they are. It would come in handy at times instead of having to open the actual maps app like when my wife messages asking if we want something to eat or something that might usually be at a specific store i can’t find out exact what’s around her at the moment in messages map and have to tap i and then open in maps to be able to tap icons and get info. In Find My i have to open Messages thread and then follow that process or if i quickly recognize area then just open maps and find area.
