- My phone (12 Pro Max) is getting really hot in the top left corner after some minuts of using the phone (not even gaming or navigating, just reading news)

- This image recognition still doesn't work for me (Europe)

The bank app I use does work perfectly across major iOS beta release. Seems that developers of your bank app needs to up their game and stop using random API or functions to Bandaid their apps to make them work.

Yeah...I never understand how those huge banks don't work, but my dinky local bank app never has an issue across any beta I've installed.

It's not uncommon for banks to whitelist OS releases in their apps and brick them when they detect an anomaly (e.g. jailbreaks or new major releases). You don't want your banking customers to have their app crash when they're about to wire money.

Has DND always synced across devices? I turned DND on my iPhone on, and it automatically turned on my iPod

Focus can sync across devices, but you can turn that off for an individual Focus mode (or as a whole?).

Getting a count error for Unread. Even after a manual refresh the incorrect count is listed.
It corrects itself when a new Unread email shows up.

Have a shortcut that gives direction to Home from wherever I am at.
About 50% of the time it gives me my location and point of interest.
The other 50% it gives me directions to Home.

Too early to say for sure, but I think macrumors is continuing to destroy my battery.

get that fire fox focus app. And then in safari settings use it’s content blockers. AMAZING! 9hrs on screen I got the other day off one charge on my 12

Been on my main device since hour 1 and it’s completely tolerable

I got 9hrs on screen time on B1. 9hrs! For a beta it’s one of the most solid builds in comparison.

So that’s the cause of the MacRumors battery drain? The ads? I don’t use content blockers.

This site never gave me problems until iOS 15…but now I have to stay away because it drains my battery insanely fast.

coincidence. I don’t think it’s iOS related. Just the way those moving adds work. Runs my processor hot!

Mine has been stuck on preparing for update for a while. haven't had this issue for a long time. Anyone else have this issue? any thoughts on a way to get it to install?

Why would this oversight in a beta make them idiots?

I do get it that if they’re changing an icon, they gotta have a list of places it comes and change it all together. Or, have a way to use one file in all places so as to change just one file and it reflects everywhere.

from a designers point of view it looks to bloated. So maybe they are still testing it’s visual design on the main app before it’s rolled out globally.

Needs a little refining, I think.

It didn't auto-renew. I had that option turned off and every time I visit Apple they remind me that my paid account has expired and I have the choice to renew.

The profile doesn’t stop working after your account expires. The profile actually isn’t linked to your account at all.

iPads got LPM too. And in settings on the iPod Touch it specifically mentions iPods. So I’m hoping it’s not a fluke. It’s the only reason I jailbroke. So if it’s permanent it’ll be a welcome change.

Then if it says that in settings then yeah it does have it. One way to find out and probably something you may not know is User Guides that Apple puts in regards to iPhone iPad and iPod Touch in which shows different OS’s like this current one shown via the Native Books app

the thing is iPod Touch doesn’t get mentioned in compatibility, it’s always about the iPad and iPhone because they are superior products than the Touch. But yeah I don’t think it’s the jailbreaking it could have gotten LPM ( despite it’s very **** battery)

also iPod Touch supports spatial audio with head tracking despite no mention of it on apples website in regards to compatibility ( it’s confusing)

so when iOS 15 comes out the Touch User Guide will be updated

Turning on DND on y iPhone turns it on on my watch and vice versa... on prior iOS/watchOS

Anyone able to unlock Apple Watch with iPhone? Can’t get it to work on this beta. Checked all my settings.

edit: nevermind it now works and there’s a new “lock” option in the unlock banner.

Did you do anything to get it working, I've reset the toggles restarted etc but my watch isn't unlocking?
