I downloaded iOS 15 Beta 4 but found that all incoming calls were going straight to voicemail. So I went back to iOS 14. Problem persisted so phoned Apple who talked me through the usual checks but could not see anything wrong so I contacted my carrier who gave me instructions to fix the problem. So now all good.

Question is, should I try iOS 15 again? Not sure if it was causing the problem in the first place? What do you guys think?

I have the patience of a gnat. Downloading again! Wish me luck….

Does anyone have problems with auto-brightness after update?
I mentioned this when updated earlier this week seems like True Tone became more richer and I had to turn up my brightness a tad ..my auto brightness level was the same from b3 but b4 had to be turned up

I have had an issue with chime since beta 2 with this weird button. It can’t be pressed. It goes away if I force quit the app but I can’t figure out what is making it appear either.

Yeah, definitely meant that to be tongue-in-cheek. ;)

My 12 Pro is struggling with the Files app. It opens normally and allows scrolling but as soon as you attempt to open any sort of file it freezes. Killing from the app switcher seems to be the only way to unfreeze and I have yet to actually open anything.

Have to agree with Files.
Had to reinstall PDF Expert to get it to work right.
Readdle - had all my files vanish from the iCloud

Let's say that Files / iCloud is having issues at the moment ...

On my 12 ProMax. Working just fine on my IPP11.

Files: perhaps the worst app/experience Apple has ever delivered. It just flat out stinks with OneDrive and other third party file platforms.

Amirite?

Sure...esp since your carrier gave you a fix. Haven't heard of that one happening, so probably just a freak occurrence.

Yup...since B1. Even with my company's managed profile installed. :)

Me, too. I just downloaded the public beta today. Seems decently stable so far. Battery life hasn’t been amazing on my iPhone 12 Pro anyway. It’s already at 93% battery health. My M1 MBA is really the only Apple product I have these days that gets amazing battery life.

Snapchat updated this morning and won’t work on beta 4. Not sure if it’s the beta or their app. Crashes on app open

Open settings app, then scroll down and tap mail, under the messages (2 options) tap on privacy protection, you have 3 options. If you want the images to load automatically make sure the block all remote content is turned off. Before that make sure the protect mail activity is also off or the other options won't show.
On 12 Pro and have the same issue. Changing settings has no effect, even after several resets.

I don’t understand Notification Summaries… does it hide all notifications all day until the scheduled summary time? Like if I set it for only 6pm… does it assemble all notifies into one summary then? Or do I get usual notifications and the summary is just a fun way to present the ones I didn’t open? Confusing to me…

No issues here, just got a update for the apple store app, pressed update all, no crashes. 🤔 try rebooting your phone.
Ditto. No issues with App Store. Now if only the pesky email image loading would fix itself and the oftentimes hanging on checking email status. Otherwise, pretty solid beta.
