And what is this strange scrolling animation now? When I scrolled up or down this weird looking blurry fade in fade out thing happens for a second or two in Safari.

Seems it’s tied into this new floating address bar thing at the bottom.

I mean seriously does ****ing Apple even test the **** out before they release it in beta or wait for all of us to complain now and then it won’t be in there, official release.
This happens to me sometimes, text would go blurry in safari for a short time.

It’s almost as for the first time 60 Hz display is noticeable in iOS. Like the upcoming 120hz screens wouldn't do this.

But it also seems a software but mostly.

Not sure mentioned already but I ran into a bug on my air2 where the settings app crashes when trying to change the DNS settings of a Wi-FI network. Things I have tried:

1. Forgot network and rejoined
2. Forced Restart using buttons
3. Erase all network settings

Needless to say, nothing helped, feedback submitted. I believe this is a new issue as of b4.

Another weird bug I think I just found? Usually it would show iMessage (2) if the same person messaged me twice but now it’s just grouping them together and only showing 1 notification.

I've been seeing this frequently over the last several weeks (at least). Need to try it out.

side note: also new with that update, finally WhatsApp lets archived messages, stay archived even when a new message comes through.

I’ve been waiting for this for years. Wife’s family group does my head in! Mute! Archived! Disappear 😆😂

I have both Reduce Motion off and Prefer Cross-Fade Transitions not on.

I always prefer these settings as it makes the phone go through things instant fast and no wonky laggy animations.

But it does make Safari funky with that wierd address bar thing.

By the way this is in my 12 Pro Max

you mean on (green) don’t you?
So it does reduce the motion and the cross fade is on rather than the animation going back and forwards in iOS.

which your right, makes the phone really quick and snappy without animations.

Sure...esp since your carrier gave you a fix. Haven't heard of that one happening, so probably just a freak occurrence.
I did download iOS 15 again and the same thing happened, calls straight to voicemail. It has however fixed itself overnight and is now working fine.

alpha male or alpha female? 🤔😂

really like the new safari, don't have a problem with it, I'm sure they'll continue to tweak it as they go.
Aye, I'm sure it will get refined as the beta phase progresses, but falls well below the bar we typically expect from Apple.

Haven’t read all the pages here but I think now being able to control your HomePod volume with Apple Watch might be new. Or at least they added that it shows up on Now Playing immediately like the Music app does. It’s really handy to turn HomePod up or down. Perhaps I’m wrong but only just noticed it.
