Anyone else’s battery being totally destroyed by this beta? Beta 3 had decent battery but beta 4 is the first in a long time on the beta train that’s killing my battery. iPhone 11 Pro Max.

12 pro max 35% left, going alright so far.

Big question is, can it do it on a cold rainy night in stoke though. 🤔😂

Part of new “stacking” notifications to clean up the screen. Just like they are stacking photos in messages.

which I really love. Was flicking through some wedding photos someone sent me. Didnt have to leave the message app. Then replied. Great UI touch. And the save button beside images is awesome to.

no. But I think they are struggling with pro max. Some safari scrolling lag is popping up, so somethings not working smoothly - and that means battery drain.

Yeah, it's really unusual for me to have any issues as I'm a pretty light user on most days but I had to plug in for a quick top up yesterday after work before heading out to dinner.

Is anyone else's iPhone waking up randomly without notification/interaction?
I saw this a couple times yesterday as well.

Wish Focus Modes worked differently… I want my Work page on my Home Screen to hide when I’m done with work for the day, but if I make a “free time/after work” custom mode, it makes me limit who I get notifications from to a few people… I simply want to stop seeing my work apps and notifications for the rest of the day.
You can hide pages by default. Go into home screen editing mode and then click the page dots above the app dock to view the home page screen where you can uncheck your work page from. That‘s essentially your „default free time“ Focus without being a Focus mode.

Another weird bug I think I just found? Usually it would show iMessage (2) if the same person messaged me twice but now it’s just grouping them together and only showing 1 notification.
Report it in the Feedback app. This seems to be intended but is a downgrade from previous UX to quickly glance how many texts someone sent to you. They listened for the reload button in Safari, they may listen here too if there is enough Feedback for that. I‘ll post feedback too complaining about the lack of notification stack count UI.

And what is this strange scrolling animation now? When I scrolled up or down this weird looking blurry fade in fade out thing happens for a second or two in Safari.

Seems it’s tied into this new floating address bar thing at the bottom.

I mean seriously does ****ing Apple even test the **** out before they release it in beta or wait for all of us to complain now and then it won’t be in there, official release.
New Issues
  • Bi-directional scrolling lag/stutter in Safari (on address bar pop-up/collapse)
I mean seriously do some of you just intentionally ignore reading (or adding to) the first-page wikipost just so you can b*tch in your willful ignorance? You’re supposedly grown men and women….

I miss when people took these forums seriously rather than using them as some public bathroom stall for expressing their every goofy immaturity but those days sadly seem long gone.

Beta 3 & 4 using Siri to change between modes on AirPods haven't been working for me. Like switching fron transparency to noise cancellation mode I would just tell Siri to do it.

Haven’t read all the pages here but I think now being able to control your HomePod volume with Apple Watch might be new. Or at least they added that it shows up on Now Playing immediately like the Music app does. It’s really handy to turn HomePod up or down. Perhaps I’m wrong but only just noticed it.
Controlling the volume from your watch is not new (one of my favorite features actually). But the Now Playing indicator showing up automatically on your watch when playing music on a HomePod does seem to be new behavior.

Ok, upgraded today, but why the heck can‘t I activate Private Relay? I‘m on 2TB plan, it tells me to buy the small 50G plan.
I’m getting this notice as well. Figure it will be fixed in a later beta.
