iOS 15 Beta 5 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

This looks to have changed (wording). Not sure if it was this beta though - on page translation in Safari;

This is something I have not seen before.
I frequently (daily+) send links to others via Messages from the Action Menu. iOS, iPadOS, Android, and others.
Today I am getting this alert if it is anything other than to an Apple device:
Yes, SMS and MMS are on. I have no problem copying links and pasting directly in Messages.

I know that being able to select text in a photo is a good thing, however it has become a pita in Safari. Far too often I am finding that when I select an object in Safari, say a product item on Amazon, instead of the link opening to that item, I am getting the menu for text in the picture of the item. Sigh. Maybe the “select” is too sensitive? Or maybe ….

I have the contacts widget, and one of my contacts had a little car icon appear above their icon. They’re not running the beta. So what information is it basing it on to show that car icon?
It might be introduced in 14.7 when they are connected to CarPlay two of my contacts are not on 15 and I see them driving but not focus mode icon..
Definitely memory issues with safari on this beta, when going back to a previous page, it always goes back to a different spot on the page. 🤦♂️
Not to worry, we'll be getting another stingy 2gb ram when the iPhone 15 comes out. 😂

I have no music playing, yet in control centre it’s stuck on this instead of saying not playing, not having this issue on my iPhone, only my iPad, anyone else with a iPad have the same issue? Only way to fix it temporary is to open the music app and kill it in the background, then it comes back again after a short period of time. 🤦♂️

I see this happen infrequently on my IPP11 and 12PM after I put away my Airpods Pro that were being used with the device.
Don’t have any AirPods, not using any headphones with the device, must be a bug. 🤔
They don’t even have CarPlay. The phone was connected to their car via Bluetooth, but that would be sick if it knew based on that. Unless it just saw them moving.

I’m curious, at what stage do you feel confident to install beta’s on your main device? I do have spare iOS devices around to play around with the beta but I usually update on main around beta 5 or 6. Used to be a lot more care free about it years ago until I had to use personal devices for work reasons 😅
I usually hold out to public beta 5 or 6 as well. Depending how the convo is going on the developer beta. I do remember waiting to beta 7 once or twice.
