I just realized this too. This was one of the more used features for me. Definitely big steps back in Beta 6. This is very unlike Apple. It is clear regression. Did you report it? I will submit the feedback as well.
Yep, report ✋🚫

Before I report this, just want to see if anyone else has no email sending sound using the stock mail app? I’ve restarted, changed volume, changed the sound setting but still silence when sending an email, but do get incoming email alert. This is on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Ta.

i can’t turn off focus status on iPhone 12 mini. Anyone else?
I don't have the mini (works on my 11) but I wonder if it's a GUI rendering issue where they didn't code for the smaller screen and things are overlapping. As a workaround, if that's the case then turning it off via the control centre should work.

Just sent a test email and got the sound on my 11. Not the default sound though as I changed it ages ago to use Classic Swish.

Anyone using iPhone 8 still facing very bad battery? Battery just changed not too long ago too.

Viewport Anyone noticing on safari and WhatsApp, like once you send a message the viewport is off not showing the full message, cuts it in half and you need to scroll to see it complete?

seems to be on messages with whatsapp longer than 6 lines

EDIT

safari seems to be keyboard related on some sites, get this jumping around.

WhatsApp reinstalled app - same. Wait for an update.

Got a problem with Music after installing PB6 from 14.7.1... but that suddenly just worked. Other that that I´m amazed! It´s very individual, I know... but my XS never had this batterylife since it was new. Took it from the charger this morning at 5:45am... used it as usual during the day with the same amount of calls, texts and other stuff. At 2:45am it´s at 79%... holy crap!

The only bug I got is that Twitter crashes at launch. Restart it and it works... Reported it but I suppose it`s Twitter that has to update.

Smooth as butter, great batterylife and overall more nice looking. Love the bottom bar in Safari, btw

Updated NordVPN app but the prior issues remain or perhaps got worse. Can't whitelist trusted wifi, and even the previously workable IKEv2 protocol now seems to disconnect wifi and revert to my cellular service before connection.

On the plus side, much-appreciated GUI revision, with Setting always in the bottom (don't you start, anti-bottom protesters!) menu panel, visible on all screens.

When connecting on my 12 PM, the symbol changes very briefly from WIFI to LTE then VPN then back to WIFI. It never actually disconnects from WIFI.

For what it's worth (possibly for folks deciding whether to jump on the iOS15 beta train), here's another datapoint.

I installed PB6 yesterday on my 12PM, from 14.7.1.

A lot of weird behavior during the first 30 minutes, but after a couple reboots and reset network settings, everything was fine. My banking, credit card, and utility bill apps all work fine. Social media apps work fine. CarPlay works great, phone calls work well whether on cellular or over wifi. Wifi and bluetooth are great, with all my devices (headphones, car, apple watch, etc). Unlocking phone with Apple Watch while wearing face mask works fine.

I haven't tested 5G because in my area, Verizon LTE is as fast or faster than Verizon 5G so I leave cellular data set to LTE all the time.

Performance seems as good or better than any version of iOS 14 I've used.

In short, if you're on the fence about installing iOS 15, I recommend it. Just make a full backup to a computer using a cable so that you can go back if you have a bad experience on iOS 15. But I think that's pretty unlikely at this point.

You can always wait a week for the next beta, which will be a bit more refined and even less likely to have show-stopper bugs.

I just wanted to point out that I do the opposite: Before upgrading, do an iCloud backup. Then TURN OFF iCloud Backup in settings, and upgrade.

Then, backup to the computer while running the beta until you are 100% confident that it won't have issues.

This way, if you're out and about and your phone dies a horrible death, you can restore that iCloud backup to the iOS 14 replacement phone right away and not have to go back to your computer.

No point it’s nothing special compared to ios 14, no one should be in a rush to get ios 15

That sounds sensible. I just backup to my computer with cable because Zollotech recommends it when installing a beta. From now on, I’ll do both. Thanks for the tip.

Spacial Audio seems a lot snappier on this Beta although still get the stuttering and lag randomly IP12PM and APM

Thanks, will check again, for sure. When I saw the "LTE" flash, I presumed it had disconnected.

Are you specifying IKE, or just "recommended"?

So whats the point in the redesigned Safari bottom bar when they still have the top bar portion filled out with a solid UI element? It‘s like having 2 address bars…
