Talking about updates, I received quite a bit of updates today. I wonder if this is a good indication that devs are actually updating their apps with the iOS 15 SDK now, fingers crossed.

No. Apple will not allow/approve apps in the App Store bullt with the new SDK until iOS 15 goes live (GM release on the day of the keynote). Comments indicating otherwise are pure poppycock.
If only these useless devs would make their iOS/iPadOS apps available for the M1 macs, they’re non existent at the moment. 🙄🤦♂️

I know apple requires the new SDK at some point but I have seen apps get updated to support iOS beta builds mid-cycle in the past. I can't remember how far ago I have seen this, I have been beta testing since iOS 5.

Apple requires the new SDK on release day and afterward. Developers can fix their apps to work with the new releases with work-arounds that do not involve the new SDK code. There are ways for developers to test their apps with the new SDK with the new iOS before release day, but it does not involve getting them into the App Store.

They only fix based on the iOS 14 SDK. It won’t be anything that’s using the iOS 15 SDK.

soooo, how come Amazon app broke on 15 last week, then they released another update that fixed it? Or was that globally across iOS, not just 15 specific?
Because what broke was something that could be fixed using the iOS 14 SDK. We see this every year. iOS 15 SDK stuff is not accepted by Apple until RC, at earliest.

And that only goes on at bedtime so my screen doesn’t light up for anything saving battery but I can still tap to see what time it is.
during the day for meetings, phone goes face down. Otherwise, for me, this all gets to fussy controlling what can come through under work setting or personal and the complete opposite of focus, but frustration setting it up, turning it off and on, which setting to chose… NFM.

Yes 3rd party weather app. Previously whenever I check subscriptions status the option to cancel is there. I wanted to cancel the sub and the option is nowhere to be found.
Amazingly when I press the app option to renew it says to Touch ID to authorize and to cancel hit cancel. But problem is cancel option is not there.
I wish someone with a sub would go into that setting and see if the cancel option is there.
Anyone here know what happens to your 2FA if you change your mobile number? Is it as easy as updating the new number into 2FA settings?
If you really need to cancel it, call apple tell them about this stuff up and get them to cancel it for you.
Either disable 2FA on those accounts until you can update the number or print out recovery codes for all of them. If the phone number is the only 2FA option they offer or you have set up, you may lock yourself out of those accounts and have to do some process to regain access otherwise.
Cancel option shows for me in both App Store -> Account -> Subscription and Settings -> iCloud -> Subscriptions.
Have you tried rebooting or signing out of your iTunes account?
