Yeah I went from 14.8 to the RC, what should I do now, the public are getting the same build so they are going from 14.8 to the rc so they will get the same issues?
Is your issue the settings app that is freezing up or crashing when going into the music settings section?

If you don't want to get jumped to the next beta; ex 15.1 or 15.0.1, then yes, you are going to want to remove the beta profile, then restart the phone. Running the RC, your phone will get the public bits without the beta profile
Yeah I would rather just get what the public gets at this point. I just removed the profile, so do you think I will get pushed the iOS 15 update this afternoon? Even though I'm on the RC.

As long as you restart, you will be pushed to whatever is released to the public but you won't get pushed to any future beta builds without that profile loaded.

Yeah I have removed and restarted. I've just heard that I wont get pushed the public one today as it is likely the same build number as the RC, which would be disappointing given how buggy the Music app is.

Well, if you don't get the update, that is because you are already running the build that goes public. You will only get the update to public if the build changes but rest assured, if the build does change, you won't need the beta profile to receive this update. If you don't get the update, there is nothing to worry about except to wait for the next iteration to become available to fix the issues at hand. I am watching to see what the official build string will be, whether it changes or not. We should know in around 10 minutes, haha.

We are not sure it will be the same build yet… lets see
It will be or we would of had a new RC build on Friday
Once the public version is released, the public IPSW can be downloaded and installed as a full installer. Even if it’s the same exact version as the RC. This may help with some peoples issues. Or may not.

IPSW.me (website) then install through finder on a mac.
doesn't help I done a fresh install and same problems the RC build is terrible if the public is that one dont get it

I got the update pushed to my phone, FWIW. Thanks!

I can't confirm but it looks like the build did change slightly, the public sits at build: 18A346

Not true. Sometimes a new build gets released without an updated RC. It’s happened before and it happened today.

How do I get it from last public beta to official 15? I deleted the profile but the update isn’t popping up in the menu when I check…
