If this is all they did with iOS 15 on iPhone .. well.

I mean really. A full year and this is the best they can do?

It's like they think iOS is perfect as it is.

Missing stuff like interactive widgets and Mail updates (mail is another way people communicate during these times, not just FaceTime and text hipsters). How about always on display options? Or something like that for the home screen (icon and number of notifications that then expand). Still a cluster for notifications for regular commutations like messages or mail.

But have no fear weather is prettier!

Let's not forget how hosed iPad users got too. M1 and 16gb of RAM and nothing extra to do with it. No pro apps notta. But here you can do widgets like iPhone and take a quick note!

These have to be the most boring OS updates in a long time that I can remember.

App Library on iPad looks hideous with that much empty space around. They could design it better. Same goes for springboard with icons. The space around icons is huge, and it only looks like stretched iPhone springboard for the iPad. This is even after supposedly forking it out and calling it iPadOS.

Almost as cringe as watching TV while on FaceTime "to react together" Or listen to a song together.

Holy cringe. Because that's a feature no one wanted.

Was iOS 15 targeted to 16 year olds with all ths fluff?

This slide is usually packed. This year...not so much.

First time in a long time I’m not gonna bother going beta on this new version. Nothing I actually am excited for
In a way I’m glad because it makes getting the new iPhone better in that you’ve got a new version of iOS too

Must've been the effects of the pandemic slowing development down, I guess.

Google managed to revamp their OS this year a few weeks ago quite significantly visually, notification improvements, and widget improvements. So ?‍♂️ I doubt the pandemic is it.

There was a TON touch on. Mail hasnt hasnt really been touched in years.

Why can't I change my thermostat temp in the widget? Going into the app defeats a widget purpose.

So much could have been touched that arent significant OS changes.

Except the new weather app, everything is downright boring and I stopped the stream after the health app update.

Super big yawn.

I suspect there may be Always On in Lock Screen, but that will obviously be exclusive to iPhone 13 with the new LTPO screen and so couldn’t show it today
