Normally old versions of ios are signed a week after releasing a new version, it makes no sense to stop signing a version even before releasing a new one.

Unless they found a zero day. That would cause this immediately.

As a matter of fact, this whole episode would be consistent with Apple finding a serious bug / zero-day in 15.0.1 and the 946 build.

No way to know for sure and don’t want to start rumors. But if they did find one, I think this is what it might look like.

there are in fact several bugs reported to Apple which have recently been publically disclosed, so this mightbe messing things up.

So 15.0.1 in 7 hours? Or that ship has sailed?

Battery life has been awesome on iOS 15, 43% remaining 9 hours usage.

If they find a serious error in the possible 15.0.1, it is worth delaying the launch, but to stop signing the 15.0 for the iphone 13 without having a new launch has no justification. because if there is a serious error in this version, they should stop signing it for all models, not only for 4 phones, so I don't think it is due to a zero day bug.

Something is clearly going on. Unfortunately we’ll probably never learn what it is.

This morning I discovered iOS 15.0 19A346 ipsw file is no longer signed, so you can't re-install it or update to it. All the iOS 15.0 update files for iPhone 13 series phones are revoked, but iPhone 12, for example, is still ok.

https://ipsw.me/iPhone14,2

Also, there are reports on reddit of an update appearing last night that would not install, which Apple Support instructed ppl to ignore...

Looks like it’s being signed again

I think this is definitely a factor. We have the Unlock with Apple Watch Bug, now the Deleted Photos issue, and Car Play. Yikes!

Like me, if there is no launch today, maybe I will put the beta of ios 15.1 to test if they have solved some of the problems that I experienced, especially the one that some notifications do not sound without the mobile being silent.

Considering there is a major data loss bug tied to iCloud Backup in all versions of 15 at the moment I'm willing to bet Apple is all hands on deck for that.

I hope to see at the very least a beta 3 soon.

No iOS/iPadOS updates it seems. But I am seeing release notes for macOS 11.6.1 (20G211) in the Feedback app. Unsure if this is a beta release or a regular release.. I'm not seeing this or the Device Support Update.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Many of my feedback submissions now show the following status message.
Still those issues are not resolved on beta 2 of 15.1.
Does the status message imply it will not be resolved on 15.1 at all?

Apple, this is completely ridiculous. Such major bugs affecting the new flagship phones and you‘re doing… nothing?!?
