iOS 15 Speculation Thread

13.7 & 14.1 had 1 beta, 14.8 had no betas. Tho not counting 14.8 as it didn't have new features. So, it's possible, but unlikely.

Since 15.1 is bug fixes and a feature that was mostly tested in 15.0 betas before being pulled, it's possible that they could go straight to release, but I am going with us seeing an RC this week and public release next week.

This hopium everyone’s been smoking this weekend hey, I love it, but hold your horses, this makes sense above. Just can’t see a D build to final release. RC dropped tues/weds. Final next week same days… would be my gut feeling based a small amount of cycle knowledge. Save me some of that joint guys 😜

Either that, or a 15.0.2 this week.
 
I spent most of last week with Apple senior advisors and engineers trying to understand why my 12 Pro as showing 135GB available of 128GB Capacity. Yesterday I needed to use my wife's new 13 ProMax to speak with Apple while we were running diagnostics on mine I decided to check her About setting. Same exact issue, which I reported back to the senior advisor who then checked his phone and he had same issue. He said later that a full restore fixed it - thing is not sure this has been on Apple's radar? I will wait for next iOS update to see if it fixes.

if a restore fixed it, I’d bet my left nutt they do know about it, won’t do anything about it because it’s mainly effecting beta people and that’s just part and parcel, so Apple will be focusing on other “critical” bugs or new products in the iOS like UC (Universal control) that’s coming sooooon.

I can just see that 15.1 is gonna be a low amount of Betas. Final by the last week of October, as they will want to get onto 15.2 for Universal Control and SharePlay, as am sure they said that would be out in the fall, so they will want that out by end of November/first week or so of December.

honestly interested, not contesting, you know me now…

would/have Apple gone from a D build to RC ?

it’s always felt like we hit an A then we know what’s coming the following weeks. And a D to RC feels (chills up my spin) a little hasty, no?!?
 
I'm thinking tomorrow as well, but I think we're going to see an RC so they can get 15.2 into beta and out to the tester community; timetable is short for getting those promised features out before winter.

What?. We are all having fun here, relax. Previously, @Pearsey was doing a drugs related joke. Its ok. Just having fun.

Like I said in a previous post, I respect those who use betas. Jesus Christ, how susceptible the internet has became in the last few years.
