They have gone from beta to public release before. They did it with various 13.x releases. They didn’t do it with 14.x, but that doesn’t mean they won’t do it on 15.x as well.

So, your post is incorrect, they have done it.
I remember releases of intermediate versions of ios, type 13.3.1 ... large releases, going from 13.3 to 13.4 have always taken quite a few weeks between them, which is why I keep saying that I do not see it feasible to release ios 15.2 at the end of November, and in mid-December ios 15.3. can it happen? Yes, but I see more likely to lengthen the beta cycle of ios 15.2.

I'd rather they gave us new text alerts/ringtones since those are such a chore to create and get onto the phone while you can literally use any picture on the internet as a wallpaper.
I'd go one further and say it's about time Apple allows access for 3rd party apps to system Tones & Alerts. If I can make the alert sound for the Apple Mail app something I've created, but then can make Spark the "Default" Mail app, why can't I use that Alert I created for Spark?

Seems 10:10 Pacific is the new 10:00 Pacific.
They'll release at the top of the hour, but it takes time for that to propagate across everywhere. They don't just rely on one specific "server" to push these out. That's why you might see someone post something about a new update at like 10:02am PST but then another saying at 10:15am PST that they're still not seeing it. That doesn't even take into account that your own device might not have seen the update.. Lots to factor in :)

Ah, totally agree. I do use custom ringtones almost all the time, but new alert/message tones would be amazing. We haven’t see any new tones since iOS 7, with the exception of reflection on iPhone X on.

There is always a chance
I'd give up on 15.1.1, it's not coming, it's been over 2 weeks since tvOS 15.1.1 & audioOS 15.1.1, iOS 15.1.1 ain't comin, or it would have been out ages ago.

13.1, 13.2, 13.3 & 13.4 all went from beta to public release after a week, no RC(GM), but 13.5 had a GM. So, you might have forgotten about that based on your comment.

We could see public release of 15.2 next week with 15.3 beta 1, which is solely about UC, and that gets public release by 21st December (last day of Fall). UC might not need such extensive testing. Plus, since we know it's labelled as 'Beta' in the menus, even more reason to believe that 15.3 can have a short beta window....

Proof of beta label (which is like how iCloud Private Relay has been released):

Until Apple change their page to say UC is not coming later in the fall, then its still very likely to happen as I describe above.

I think we have had a misunderstood, probably the result of my limited English. I did not say that it could not be released to the public without a beta RC, but I did not see likely to launch a final version at the end of November and another in mid-December, with a separation of about two or three weeks.
but we can perfectly see a final version next week, with the first beta of ios 15.3. as we can also see RC version on Monday, Wednesday first beta of ios 15.3 with final release of ios 15.2 on Friday of next week or Monday of the following. with apple today everything is possible hehe
