I’m guessing we are at one week Betas now. It does seem though that UC is a long shot for 2021.
Judging on what @gwhizkids found & posted in the 15.2 beta 2 thread, it could be they roll it out to public as a beta feature (like iCloud Private Relay).

Do we have a general concenus for when 15.2 will be out? Surely before end of Nov?
Hopefully not, as my understanding is that Beta 2 is quite unstable, especially when it comes to Monterey. Furthermore, none of the real issues are fixed yet (ProMotion support, memory leaks, etc) and UC is not available either. Nobody knows at this point.

i dont think we will see ios 15.2 final release in november, there is no material time for it. they usually launch a beta that ends in "a" before launching a rc and then comes the final launch. And if there is any more intermediate beta, which surely will be, I do not expect a final release of ios 15.2 until the second or third week of December, then launching the first beta of ios 15.3 surely. I hope I'm wrong and we'll see it before ^^

First post updated with some minor changes....can anyone confirm the public beta release dats/times I put in there for 15.1 betas? I'm assuming they both took place exactly one day after the developer releases like the latest one?

The 25th is a holiday in the USA with most companies (non-retail) being also closed on the 26th.

Apple actually does have a history to my recollection of releasing updates (including Maps releases) that Monday or Tuesday.
Aye, my recollection is in line with yours.

If they do 15.2 then, could possibly see 15.3 beta 1 that week, for UC, with it coming out to the public the W/C 20th....

If you want to launch it in the week of the 23rd, next week we will have to see an RC version. and that also shocks that we have not seen a beta with a build that ends in "a" ... I think that in the week you comment we will have beta 3 of ios 15.2, and hopefully with the UC and the emojis, and from this week we will see weekly beta releases until its final release in mid-December before the holidays. Although this year they will continue to accept application updates, they can leave some reduced software development team and take out a beta during the holidays, although I see this quite unlikely, to speculate that it is not hehe

Not sure we will see UC in 15.2 .. in my opinion 15.2 is close to being released its running better than 15.1 for me and it would be nice to release it then move on to 15.3 with UC . And beta 2 is a “e” build and I think its really good so this could be the one that goes to RC which would be one example of a non “a”build going to an RC

Yeah totally. I think we looked into that historically when we were on 15 or 15.1 on here, that Apple does go from non “a” builds to RC - Something like 90% of them were though when I looked back.

But it’s by the by, ultimately we just want it NOW! ??.

We are on November 13 and second beta of ios 15.2.
If you want to launch ios 15.2 and 15.3 until mid-December, there is a schedule as tight as it is difficult in my view. Besides that we will have two stable releases in about two weeks, because ios 15.2 will be released at the earliest in two weeks, leaving 3 weeks to go through the entire beta process of ios 15.3.
It is hard but not impossible.

One more beta which will be an A build then final release.

I think that either they are already testing ios 15.3 internally, or I doubt that we will see it in a stable way before the end of the year. It seems to me that there are only a few weeks left to finish the beta process for ios 15.2 and start and finish the beta process for ios 15.3.
I see it more likely that they will add the UC in a beta 3 of ios 15.2, than to launch two versions with such a short time of difference, which would be something unpublished as far as I remember.
