why not tomorrow? but I do agree lets hope its a new build from rcSee you Thursday!!
I wouldn't mind if they took their time to polish even further iOS 15.3, to have a really stable and solid version to rely on for the future.

If iOS 15.4 is decent enough, or maybe even better in terms of bugs and efficiency, I’ll update for sure! But I am assuming that the iOS 15 development can go wrong at any moment, for instance, when they implement a big feature like Universal Control. I’ll wait and read the first impressions of early adopters, and depending on that I will keep updating or I’ll stay 15.3 like I have on iOS 14 so far. What future? ? Any OS is a constant work in progress, in all likelihood Apple are already working on iOS 15.4 and probably way ahead. They previous iOS 15 releases were not so polished either. There is something holding it up at the moment, we are just not quite sure what. ??♂️
Which device? 15.3 feels great on my 13 Pro.If iOS 15.4 is decent enough, or maybe even better in terms of bugs and efficiency, I’ll update for sure! iPhone 8, I am going to update anyways, unless some catastrophic bug is discovered in the last momentWhich device? 15.3 feels great on my 13 Pro.
They all went on the assumption that it would be Monday, like iOS 15.0, 15.1 and 15.2. Since it looked like it was pretty much a dead cert, they use the RC for the videos, so they can drop the videos for when the release is expected, for peak views. Heavily doubt Apple prompted them. What amuses me the most is how apple somehow trolled these youtubers who yesterday released their videos announcing the launch of iOS 15.3, something that doesn't seem to happen today either. I suppose that this will help you to record those videos, and publish them when the update is really released xD
Doesn't matter, as we've seen time and again.By the way, the build number is 19D49. Should the letter be “closer” to A in a RC instead of a D? Thank you
I think it matters a lot less than it used to.Doesn't matter, as we've seen time and again.

I believe you are referring to the letter on the end of a beta build not the one just after the new build number indicating the minor build (example 19D5040e ) However that has no bearing either. That "D" you are referring to is the minor version.By the way, the build number is 19D49. Should the letter be “closer” to A in a RC instead of a D? Thank you
I believe the reference is meant to be the letter on the end of beta builds. Not the minor letter. (just assuming anyway)Doesn't matter, as we've seen time and again.
HA beat me to the punchThat capital D is not the quality control increment (I’m sure someone, like @TimFL1 ,knows what it’s really called). The capital D is the minor build version number, meaning that this is the 4th minor version of iOS 15 (the earlier ones being 15.0, 15.1 and 15.2 ).
What you are thinking of is the lower case letter that appears at the end of a build number for a beta. Those represent how many times the build had to be compiled before QC allows it to be released. That’s why you theoretically want those to be letters earlier in the alphabet, as it means the build had to be compiled fewer times before meeting quality control standards.
As you will note, the lower case letter is omitted from the release candidate build number.

15.3 could be delayed due to this?
Dutch watchdog fines Apple 5 million euros for failure to comply on app store
AMSTERDAM (Reuters) -Apple was fined 5 million euros ($5.65 million) by the Dutch antitrust regulator on Monday for failing to comply with an order to open its app store to allow dating app providers in the Netherlands to use alternative payment methods. I read yesterday that Apple was in trouble due to complaints from Ericson for its 5G patents. apparently apple was violating them and if things went ahead, they could ban the sale of the iphone for it in various regions. As Germany is one of the countries where 3 complaints have been filed, if it comes to this, they will surely request that ban throughout the European Union, which would affect me because I live in Spain.15.3 could be delayed due to this?

But the rc came out for all devices and software releases so it must be ready I’m sure it will be today or tomorrowOr maybe they just to want push updates for all other devices alltogether and they may not be ready.. So l wouldn't be surprised if they go out next Monday.
