In the past, I'd be first to jump on the new betas but for 14, 15 and 16, I'm fine waiting until it gets closer to public release.

Maybe it's because iOS hasn't had too many game changing features that I want to try out or because they seem to be more buggy than the past. Could also be I'm getting old and just don't feel like dealing with bugs and bad battery life.

Let's hope that iOS 16 is packed with great everyday useful features!

Think people just jumped on the first beta of 13 and 14 for dark mode and widgets.

For 15, there isn't much on the beta, seemed more like 14.9 tbh

Honor and Respect! Memorial Day Weekend.

This is our last week before we get our eyes on iOS 16. Hoping for a beta to be dropped for iOS 15 sometime this week. Let's get it!

One question, if I put the iPhone in the iOS 16 beta, can I use the watch if it is in WatchOS 8? Or will this combination not work?

Nobody knows this yet. It could be a situation like when Universal Control stopped working if you’re iPad wasn’t on the beta, too. I would assume it’d still work to tell you the time, though ;)

It does. Some specific features may not be available until you update the watchOS but you shouldn’t be having any problem using the Watch itself with watchOS 8.

Apple understands not many would beta test on their Watches like they do with their iPhones as there’s no way to revert watchOS to prior version if you encounter an issue. It’s been this way for as long as I can remember and I don’t see it changing anytime soon.

Your watchOS version can’t be later than your iOS version. That’s the only rule.

It’ll be this will and early. All the engineers are finalizing presentations or getting ready for virtual labs. No later than Wednesday.

Doubtful. There will be iOS 16 teams and iOS 15 teams. Anyway just a guess, you or I have no clue really.

I do have a clue. It’s called experience and using my brain.

Do I have hard facts? No.

15.6 b1 was released on 5/18 - 13 days ago. Do I think they’re going to wait three or maybe even 4 weeks for a second beta of 15.6. No, I do not.

B2 drops today or at the latest tomorrow.
