Ok so serious question, no guess work, ha, but sensible historic deduction of patterns and facts for a release next week… we looking like Monday or Tuesday?

Given that we are into unfamiliar ground (17 days and counting), I will venture a guess that it will be Monday (Day 21). This is unusual, to be sure, and I suspect we will see some nice new features with it. We usually see some fun nuggets in the first 3 or 4 betas, but these might be more than usual. Just a hunch...

I’m going with Tuesday. Apple mixing it up with 3 week gap. I don’t see it being 4 weeks. Apple always looking to surprise us with going against their own trends more and more lately!

Even still, I’m doubtful of public beta being before the holiday weekend.

As it’s a speculation thread, all guesses should contain one or more of the words- predict or speculate etc.
I don't mean this in a snide way—and not to you specifically, either—but can you explain why you think this is necessary?

Given what the title/premise of the thread is, and the fact that we already know that no one here knows...

I don't see how/why anyone doesn't take any post here as speculation/guessing by default, without the presence of any specific "magic words".

I think it sounds like an assignment from the Department of Redundancy Department. Like when people send Meeting Requests at work with "Meeting" in the title...what else would it be?

what could possibly stop them from releasing the beta schedule to all of us? Unless it really does constantly change, I don’t see another reason.
Because there's no upside for them. I'm as curious as anyone and download as soon as I can, but I also realize that Apple has no incentive to satisfy my/our curiosity.

There's only downside: if they missed a date, people would be aggrieved in one way or another, the media would speculate about "what it all means", etc.

Better to underpromise (or promise nothing), and overdeliver.
