So a battery pack is going to delay a beta release ? Great!
ughhh doubt we'll release a 15 beta with 14.7 RC released just now. I guess tomorrow/thursday it is.
I’m not ruling out a 4pm release today, but who knows
So 14.7 gets beta 5 on July 8 and release candidate on July 13, and iOS 15 beta 3 is patiently waiting in line to be allowed to come out of the closet. As @s2mike said, maybe it will take flight at 4 PM.
Yeah, same hope for me. Frankly, more than iOS beta 3 I want the macOS version to be released soon. It is not going to kill me to wait as long as they take to bake beta 3 for iOS, as beta 2 is decent enough. Oh, I was suddenly reminded of the HSBC app. Yeah, I need beta 3 to see if it fixes HSBC app or HSBC should release an update, yeah.
Back to square one it seems. "Need" beta.
I'll hold out hope for later today as well, but won't be surprised if it doesn't happen.
If we take the re-release for the start of public betas out of the equation, beta 2 is coming up on 3 weeks now, isn't it? I'll just say I'm glad this one hasn't been a complete disaster for me, because another day or two wait is tolerable.

On personal level I hope for his well-being, too. But on the iOS level, I remember he said he would be staying quiet about the blank message bar bug after iOS 14, so ....

So now we even have macOS 11.5 RC. I am also inclined towards a 4 PM release for the iOS 15 and macOS 12 betas, but they may just do it tomorrow, what say, @s2mike?
Haven’t really been around much because iOS 15 is so stable and pretty boring. Just feel like I don’t have a ton to say about it.
But, also, using this website on Safari absolutely destroys my phone’s battery. Like, just using macrumors for five minutes makes my iPhone 12 mini physically get hot. It’s crazy. Hope that gets fixed at some point…it was never an issue prior to the iOS 15 betas.
As far as Beta 3…a small part of me thinks it could be released in a little over two hours, but most likely tomorrow or maybe even Thursday.

Beta 2 was released on a Thursday (6/24).
Updated beta 2 was released on a Wednesday (6/30).
I think beta 3 will be released on Thursday, not today or tomorrow.

Tbh I think beta 3 might be quite exciting as it will be more than 3 weeks since the release of beta 2. Like I’m expecting beta 3 to be 20+ builds newer than beta 2. I have quite a lot issues with the music app, so u hope they will get fixed, although it might not be a priority for the early betas.
have you tried downloading the Firefox focus app and using the content blockers? I don’t get any heat or battery drain on here.
In fact seen improvement to my battery stability and longevity since using.
