never heard of these guys, going with next week now. ?

i have never seen these guys speculate like this before.. they usually are one of the first to say something is coming out with in seconds that a beta is dropping..that’s interesting they predicted the public beta is coming this week still..they don’t have a bad track record.. lets see what happens.

If anything, Apple have lately made it clear never say never. We’ve had Friday beta releases, that were not urgent fixes over the last couple of years.

Though, that being said, I am expecting PB to be next week, as ‘usually’ the PB is the week after the DB release early on in the x.0 beta process.

Yep, wouldn’t be surprised if they go with 4 weeks for beta 4 or release it next week. 🤔🤷‍♂️😂

Question to those on public beta....is Apple calling it public beta three in the release? Or is it public beta 2 (which in reality, it is)?

I know they sometimes mess it up, but maybe they changed it to match the DB betas for simplicity sake.

PB 3, betas and public betas are the same build number.

Yes...but in the past, Apple named the release itself on your phone as Public Beta 2 since it is the second release of the public beta. It had nothing to do with the fact that matches Developer Beta 3.

Yep, it said PB 3 on both my iPhone and iPad on the download screen.

Got it...so Apple has changed the way they traditionally have named public betas to now match the DB release. Changing the first post now to align.

Honesty don’t know anymore 🤷‍♂️😂 they normally start releasing weekly betas in August, the way they’ve been going recently, wouldn’t be surprised if we see 2 betas in 1 week. 😳😬😂

Nah, it's something to live with for 2 weeks, as they're not going to be classed as showstoppers. This build was 9th July, so we're 9 days behind their internal builds, so they will be working on it, for it to come in 2 weeks for us.

Well, iOS 11 to 14, weekly started after B5 was released. iOS 10 was after Beta 4. Before that it was much longer.

So, going by recent history, expect it to be 2 weeks to B4, then 2 weeks to B5. Set expectation as that, and anything sooner is a bonus

These issues are not critical enough for another beta release that soon. We only get a beta next week if they plan on going weekly now.
