I’ve loaded back iso 15.6rc now. I’ve increased to 4.18h and it’s only the 2nd day of usage. Well it’s better! Of course I’m way behind on security now. Damn
Yeah, iOS 16 then. Like always, unfortunately!

Not the best but still could pull an all-day battery life.

How would you all rank 16.0 vs 16.1 vs 16.2 vs 16.3 so far in battery?

Which 16.x.x version has been the best and which has been the worst?

My experience is limited to 16.0.x and 16.1 but 16.1 with a restore (and I think restore from backup) has been solid on my 14 PM. I think 14 PM had enough overhead that coming from 12 Pro on 15.1 it wasn't too bad, but 16.1 definitely helped things a lot imo.

I have to say since 16.3.1 I was finding better battery life on my 14 Plus and now I have a 14 Pro Max again it is even better.

I charged it to 100% yesterday at 12:23pm and currently I have 55% battery left. Screen times has been 5hr 50 minutes since then. it has been a mix of social media, watching YouTube and web browsing

Very light use of the 14PM today with IOS 16.3.1, as I have used another mobile phone more, but charging to 100% makes a lot of difference, I normally charge to 96 or 97%.

Well, it's the device's original iOS version. If it's not good here, it'll never be.

Battery life hasn’t been that great lately. It struggles. Could be the low cellular connection. I would love to see hitting 10 hours a day but barely getting 5 hours of usage.

Iphone 14PM on IOS 16.3.1 9 hours and 14 minutes and the remaining 30 percent, almost 3 days if I squeezed to the max not bad

How long have you been using your phone with this battery? Maybe it has run out of battery life and it's time to replace it?
Why is nobody talking about this?

Running on a 13 Pro and I'm getting noticeable battery drain compared to iOS 15.6.1. Anyone else having the same issue? Can't imagine the battery drain on older phones.

I had to recharge mid way through the day (I don't allow my phone to dip below 30% to keep battery health in tip top shape). FYI my battery health is at 99%. And yes, this is iOS 16 production (non beta)

With a battery health at 99%, it should be good. No one should be replacing iPhone 13 series batteries still anyway, it's been just over a year since they came out. My 13's battery health is at 89% but still, despite the degradation, it was iOS 16 for sure. It got way better with later versions (not iOS 15 level but very close) once I reinstalled all apps because I got the cache storage bug where 'Other' was taking up a lot of space and apps wouldn't purge their caches (which is still a thing) so I couldn't take photos. I think the drain could somehow be related to that. I also removed third-party lock screen widgets and no more weather stuff going on on the lock screen. Don't know which of these 2 fixed it for me but I can comfortably last 2 days with one charge now just like in iOS 15. iOS 16 early versions had me charging my phone twice a day.

I have been struggling with battery life since I updated to iOS 16. I even changed the battery, and, although the situation improved, there was something which was wrong.

Last weekend I tried different things, but one of them was disabling current location for all weather widgets on both, the iPhone and the Apple Watch. Since then, battery life seems much more stable, so maybe you can give it a try in case you have an Apple Watch :)
