That's a lot of background activity. Also, is your cellular service always that poor? What was the deleted app at 15%? Also, what device is this? Did you restore from a backup or set up as new? How long ago did you do the restore?

There are a lot of questions that need to be answered to determine if its "normal."
I restored my device the other day. Tuesday or Wednesday to be exact. The deleted app was a social media app. I restored my device from the computer and restored as new. However, after doing that I noticed that there was an update on my MacBook after restoring. I never had this issue before with this much battery drain even with my usage.

Battery life on my 13PM is still great but it has taken a slight hit compared to pre-16.3.

I don't know if I should post here, my battery health is at 78 percent, it is overripe for replacement, but still...with that same battery health and iOS 15 it lasted significantly more than in iOS 16.
I use an iPhone 6s on iOS 10 with 63% health. Battery life is flawless. By that I mean, the iOS version has more relevance to determine battery life than battery health... what device do you have?

Wow. I cannot tell the exact screen-on time from that screenshot, but you unplugged it on Sunday at 23:18. Monday’s screen-on time is a little under 3 hours, what, 2h 45 min? I don’t know whether you used it on Sunday between 23:18 and 00:00, but even if you did… that’s about 3 hours 27 minutes of screen-on time, at best, from 100% to 8%. I don’t know exactly how you used it, I don’t know what the deleted app was, and I don’t know settings and brightness, but that is very poor almost regardless of that.

The fact that throughout the entire screenshot you used more than 100% and screen-on time isn’t even that high only reinforces my point further.

The Xs’ battery life was never astonishing, but according to screenshots back on iOS 12 it could quite comfortably reach at least 7 to 8 hours of moderate use. The X and the Xs were between 4.7-inch iPhones and Plus models, so more than 6-7 and less than 10-12. Between 7 to 10 hours depending on use. That screenshot shows… 3 to 4 hours. Or half that of iOS 12.

Always low brightness and Bluetooth turned off. The deleted app was supremacy1914 a browser game. It’s very poor. I guess my battery is to be replaced

Maybe give it a shot without the browser game, it might be that, but if it isn’t that, and it is iOS 16, yeah, that’s very poor.

I'm starting to see a big spike in background activity for mail right as I updated to 16.3.1 after updating despite everything being on manual. I really hope it's just doing something, and I don't have to completely reinstall the OS again to make it go away...

I have had a very similar experience with the 13pro and loss of SOT. Mileage with iOS 16 was just never as good as iOS 15 for me. No idea why. I’ve tried everything I could think of to pinpoint the difference. Even went a few days with a fresh install of 16 and no 3rd party apps and had similar drain as I do now.

I’ve loaded back iso 15.6rc now. I’ve increased to 4.18h and it’s only the 2nd day of usage. Well it’s better! Of course I’m way behind on security now. Damn
