I assume you already tried hard reset (up/down volume then hold power btn) and forget/re-pair yours.
Yeahhh :/ I've tried it all. Only thing I haven't tried is a clean install of iOS but that's last resort because I don't want to set aside the time to set my phone back up again.

Does anyone have a guess if they will release this build to everyone next week? Or will the 15s get a different public build as well.

Don’t know about everyone else but this build feels even better than RC1; got it on an iPhone 15 Pro.

I’m not sure I understand the correlation.
iOS 17 heating issues continue when allegedly it has been addressed. My guess is the USB C change has something to do with it as overheating was a nonissue before iOS 17.

More than likely this build brings the 15's in line with the others.. there was obviously something "off" in the FW for the 15's so they had to do a targeted release to fix it..

I have made a determination of battery life after a mere 3 minutes, and made an interpolation of estimated consumption using my patented algorithm.

Yes, I was being extremely funny 😉
My extensive testing of RC2 confirms your results.

Did it fix the volume of music, sometimes it goes so loud when adjust. But yet I was trying to lower it.

Overheating has been an issue for a while (years), just not as prevalent as with iPhone 15 Pro. I personally do not believe it has much to do with the USB-C, as my iPhone 15 (non Pro) does not overheat.

Apple were suggesting that the issue was related to non-optimised Meta apps (Facebook, Insta and some games), so it might be that (software, an easy fix) or Pro’s thermals (hardware, so harder to fix).

Running RC2 on 15 PM since last night, so far so good for the first 12 hours or so, lol.
Going for a braai and catch the rugby at a friends place, all of whom who are using Lightning cable based iPhones, so will see how the battery life goes when I am out and about!

Reminders widget still not working for me!

Is anyone able to add a new widget I just get blurred ones which only open up the app?

I had a strange behavior last night with my 15 Pro Max. I have a Nomad Magsafe Charger and use it for over a Year now. I heard the charging sound and go to sleep. When I wake up it did not charge. I took places the phone to the charger again and it started to charge for a second and then stop. Then starts again. Over and over.

I did a Hardreset with the Volumebuttons and then it was working again normally. Very strange but happy that everything is working fine again.

Anyone else use standby overnight on their 15 pro or pro max and hear it do the bong noise to indicate its charging, even though it’s obviously been on the charger all night? It sometimes does it two or three times in succession. It’s always later in the morning, when I would get it has got to 80% charge (which is how I’ve told the iPhone to charge to).

A friend of mine says their 15 pro does it as well.

I’ve had this issue for the last two or three versions and am interested in other peoples feedback before I get it reported. Ta.
