working fine for me
You’re AirPlaying to Mac from iPhone? What exactly are you streaming? Because my Fitness+ videos haven’t been working with Lockdown Mode on or off for the entirety of 17.2’s beta run. It was at least working with Lockdown off before, and there were a couple of 17.0 betas this summer where it worked perfectly even with Lockdown Mode on.

Well i originally tested with music from apple music, but following your post I tried video and even a Fitness+ work out and everything is streaming fine from my iPhone 15 pro max to my MacBook Air via AirPlay. I have lock down mode off.

Try turning Lockdown Mode on, re-enable AirPlay reception in macOS Settings, and then see. Still really annoying that it isn’t working when it should be (after re-enabling AirPlay) with Lockdown on.

And?... People will still have used this version for a week and can comment on battery life, so my question is still valid.
Just helpfully pointing out that the answer will be irrelevant by then.

Could also mention that all these battery questions are no longer humorous.

On a more worrying note I could mention that this beta is doing all sorts of weird stuff with my typing which I am having to correct word by word. Hopefully a reboot will fix it.

Super big minor change - the default notification sound can now be customized. Incredible.
That alone is almost worth updating for. I have despised iOS 17 for making that change to start with. The one they chose is TOO QUIET. Especially when phone is in pocket or while sleeping and need certain notifications to actually alert me.

Has anyone noticed car play issues like Siri not responding to send or reply to
Messages and volume control etc being fixed in 17.2 b4?

Hoping it is fixed. Issues across car models and iPhone 15 pro and other phone models reported numerous times.

Ah Siri can’t shutdown or reboot the phone on betas apparently. So far on 17.2 betas anyway. Probably a release version option only.

[Edit] Today it worked fine. No idea why it would respond " sorry I cant do that ......" just after the update last night. Oh well!

With iOS 17.1.1 the home app is good and you can control the LG TV. Unfortunately, that doesn't work yet with 17.2.

Anyone still having issues with the camera app occasionally freezing / lagging? I had this issue on beta 1-3 and actually went back to 17.1.1 because of this. Wonder if I should give it another go.

Funny you should say this. On beta 3 I had my 13 mini camera freeze a few times - very annoying. Not yet sure about beta 4. If I were you though and it's not happening on your current install I'd stick to it. The betas add little in my experience.
