They seem to have fixed the Siri voice changing from your setting issue. It’s now sticking for me overnight which was not the case.

Somehow I can`t see the Favorites Playlist. I already restarted my iPhone but it is not showing up. Very strange.

When I'm asking Siri "What is my weight?", she always reply "I can't help you with that, but you can check that in the Health app". So either she is trying to politely tell me that I am too wide for my height or it doesn't work outside US. In both cases I feel no love from her 😀
Yep, I get the same. I hardly ever use the Health app but I did enter my weight a few years ago it seems, so it is there. I noticed that under "Sharing" in the Health app that Siri was not toggled on.

Toggled it on, rebooted the phone and ... still doesn't work. Oh well. Luckily, I now know how much I weighed a few years ago.

Despite Depth Effect being turned on, it doesn't appear to work even after redoing my wallpapers. There's no motion when rotating my phone in any direction.

Anyone know how to remove MLS Season Pass from the Apple TV app (on all devices) please? I’m really hoping this isn’t something else Apple are forcing on us without any option to remove it!!

Probably not new to the RC, but iPadOS 17.2 appears to finally fix tapping the status bar to spring to the top of a webpage in Safari. This was very unreliable on an iPad mini 6 up to 17.1.2

This is a terrible RC for my 13 Mini. Decided to go iOS 17 as I have a Samsung Flip for my daily driver now due to Apple’s horrendous support.

It’s been 24 hours with a 100% charge up included. Already down to 75% charge left with 52 minutes on screen & 27 minutes off.

No apps updating in the background except weather. Also, choppy as hell going between apps.

How does Apple do so much injustice to a device that’s only 2 years old?? It’s been almost 3 months since 17 was released! 👎

I thing I never understand is why do people need a clock widget when the time is in the top of the phone all the time?
LOL.

A friend was staying with us over the holiday and I saw her iPhone has a masking tape over the clock in the corner. I asked her if the screen was broken and she said: Oh no. I covered it up because I don't need to be looking at the clock all the time. There's no way to turn the clock off and I don't need it to remind me of the time.

LOL. Never heard of that before, but she has a point!

That said, the clock widget can be used to display the times in different places. I have, for example, family living in at least 2 different time zones, and have business interactions with those in other time zones, couple of which is more than 12 hours ahead of me. While I don't use a clock widget for that, I can see how it would be useful.

If you install it then most likely you will already have the version released next week. You can install the RC and turn off the beta switch and be all set early.

Interesting but I doubt its iOS causing your issues. I have a launch day XR with orig battery and no such issues as you. Perhaps kill all apps and reboot and see if it settles down. If its choppy then something is running in the background (mail, iClould sync, etc). The XR is running smooth as silk.
