It *probably* means 17.3 doesn't have the security fixes that are in 17.2.1 but as Apple haven't released comprehensive release notes for many years (if ever?), there's no way to know for sure.

It *probably* means 17.3 doesn't have the security fixes that are in 17.2.1 but as Apple haven't released comprehensive release notes for many years (if ever?), there's no way to know for sure.
And make sure it is an archived backup. If you don’t, that backup will be overwritten by the first backup your phone does on 17.3. Search more.com for instructions on how to do that.
I typically don't pay attention to the storage graph when I sync to my Mac, but my used space has dropped considerably with this beta.
I'm on iPhone 14 Pro Max on the current beta. People are saying they see I have notifications silenced. But they're not. I hear the notifications when someone sends a text. And it's on in Settings. Do Not Disturb is set from 12 midnight to 6 am. I haven't changed anything.

EDIT: the query works when I ask for direction to work, but it is not getting the query even I have saved address with that contact
EDIT2: it works when I specify that I want to get directions to contact home. So it just can’t figure it out from the context when a specific place isn’t mentioned and answers it completely wrong. So probably not a bug, it’s just Siri being herself 😌😋

Mine doesn’t know I’m at home. Have to wait an hour every time. Home is clearly pinned in Maps.

unfortunately they seem to have missed out “Reset all settings” from the list - try it with your thumb over the camera if you are using a test phone. I hope they plug that hole.
not even on iOS 17.3 but on 17.2.1 same issue. All of a sudden it's prompting me to add a recovery contact who I have added from the start (part of my family sharing). Now to make matters worse its showing me as her recovery contact as "not avaliable"
I have noticed in the past day or 2 that when I go from reverse (rear-view camera image showing on display) back to forward/neutral/park instead of a quick cut to the CarPlay screen, it now does a "dissolve" transition.
It transitions every time and there is no glitchy behavior in navigating thru CarPlay so I don't know if it's an intentional change they implemented or not.

"Reset All Settings" would leave the activation lock and Find My enabled so they are even worse off, right?
I was able to add a new passcode and a new faceID which the thief can use to turn off protection.
Find My can then be turned off using password reset as before using passcode.
Test it at least as far as confirming the reset all settings, cover the cameras or ask a friend so as not to use your faceID

No, seems to still be broken with this beta.
With this beta all of a sudden my wifi stops working. Turning wifi off and on fixes the issue. All other devices on 17.3 beta 1 work. Just my iPhone 15 Pro max with 17.3 beta 1 has the problem.

This has been an ongoing problem. I’ve had it happen on this beta and previous betas.
My iPhone 13 is working fine regarding the Wi-Fi, no disconnects. Perhaps the 15 series only? Although that seems strange. I am on latest beta.
Never had the wifi issues on my 15 as long as I've had it on any network, although it has the same modem (I think) as the Pro. I think it's mainly relegated to the Pros for some reason
