True enough. My own experience (and that’s the key: it’s mine and might not be yours) is that the battery life on my 15PM has been very good. And I haven’t had any other serious issues (I have had problems with the cursor jumping around when I am selecting text with my finger, but I don’t consider that serious).
The glitchy animation with the loudness slider in 17.2 bothers me a bit. It was gone with 17.1 but returned with the 17.2 update.
Die you see squared notifications with the b1 of 17.3?

Does anyone remember when they the layout of the App Store? I think they’ve gone for the horizontal layout so to save vertical space, I’m just noticed it only recently and was wondering when was this change made. Thanks!

With the new device security mode, what happens when my FaceID sensor suddenly gives in or I had an accident and it doesn‘t recognize me anymore? Can‘t access passwords and co. then?

Is there a detailed rundown of how it works somewhere? Every article only ever has the same few high level details listed (like a copy paste article being shared everywhere).

Fortunately for me, I’ve never had the squared notification problem. So no, I haven’t seen it on this beta either

Only activates when you're away from work or home. If worse comes to worse and you're out of town and the FaceID stops and you need to make a change that requires FaceID, you're probably screwed. But, the likely hood of that happening seems like a very very very minimal concern. :)

Any issues with this on a 15 pro max, and for those with watches, 10.3?

Is it safe to install considering a long wait til the next beta

It prevents quick changes to things like device passcode and appleID password changes. Protect a few other things as well.

anyone compare ios 17.2 and 17.3 beta1 about speed, battery on iphone 15 promax?

Can i dowgrade ios 17.3 to 17.2.1?

My reception on 14 pro max is just awful. Nonetheless the UI feels faster
On my 15 Pro reception has been awful since 17.0.3. Intermittent disconnection for ca. 30 seconds, then sometimes it just blacks out for 1h-2h.

I’m holding off and staying on 17.2/10.2. As you say, it is likely a long time till the next update.

Unless 17.2 drops a problem or two.

It’s pretty solid, well for my 14Pro anyway. Not seen any of the issues mentioned, just a definite performance boost. Battery the same. Maps works great.

iMessage: but this was still present in 17.2, with scrolling, it’s no way as smooth as say settings. It’s a bit glitchy.

I figure one of your big brains know this answer: since 17.2.1 came out AFTER 17.3 B1, does that generally mean that what got fixed in the x.x.x update isn’t going to be fixed until B2 OR is it usually fixed in the beta then tweaked for the plebs??
