Hi guys,

Some of you see this « map configuration button on the upper right map main screen » of your cars ?

My 2023 Peugeot car has the instrument cluster screen already showing the Apple Maps directions arrows.
But I can’t see this configuration button they mention in iOS 17.4b4 changelog….

Any help ?

Thanks !
Franck

I have a strange bug with the App Store where I don’t have any new or recent updates!

The updated recently has been scrubbed as of Beta 4. Updates are still available as I've had a few and are shown in updated recently now, after the update.

Or: only the iPhone 15 has the necessary monitoring capability to do this.

Do you honestly think they get any benefit from limiting this to the newest phones? It’s not like this feature is “good” for Apple.
Well not so sure about that. Old phones have the analytics data and there are shortcuts that run and parse that data and present it. Also applications such as iMazing display that data. So the info is actually there just not displayed anywhere natively.

PSA:

I force restarted my phone and when I was entering my password (10 numbers) my keyboard froze up twice resulting me to almost lock up my device for entering the password wrong. It froze after 8th number. So be careful when you enter your password if you restart your phone.

Nothing happened after 8th number, completely frozen keyboard.

Never had this happen before.

My point is: Apple may have perfectly satisfactory reasons for not making this data available on the older model phones.

I recommend anyone who is having or thinks they are having issues with spam or telemarketing calls to check settings.
I received an unusual number of these calls/texts today. Turns out that the update turned off my Hiya Level 1,2, and 3. I also noticed - looked because of the App Store recently install list issue - my Blocked Contacts list is far shorter than it should be.

Normally I see notices of only 1-2 calls of this type a day. Hiya handles the rest.

No, it happens when I open the App Store and tap to install any app. I also got it for Fruit Ninja and other random apps I tried

My bad for not reading your post closely in the first place. The pop-up also says, "Verifying before installing", so clearly it is a feature, not a bug. Maybe little bit annoying, but I can live with that. Cheers.
