Yeah, notification of "unknown AirTag is following you" still works, I know. But that's it.
Seems you're well prepared for the real test?!
Are you in a family share, like sharing iCloud+? The phone should not report suspicious AirTags registered to “family” members.

Anyone’s Today view not loading on the App Store? Tried WiFi and mobile data, the other tabs work fine, only started today.
Yes. It was happening to me earlier but it's OK now. It was strange because I could access other App Store tabs, just not the Today.

As I say, it seems OK now.

RC changed time format from 24 hrs to 12 hrs, both on my iPad Pro and iPhone 15 Plus.
I had to flip the switch back to 24, no problems so far.
It makes me doubt how does Apple validate their software.
I'm in Argentina, where we use the "military" time format of 24 hrs.

That is one item that has always bothered me with iOS, it will arbitrarily change settings for no apparent reason and not consistently for users.

Something changed with RC.

I use Hiya as my spam call/text filter on both my S24 Ultra and 15 ProMax. They work pretty much the same on both.
Since installing RC, I am getting slammed with calls and texts that get through. 7 on the Ultra, 27 on the ProMax. Might be the app but Hiya on Android is catching most while Hiya on iOS is catching far less. I have reached out to Hiya and am checking other iphone settings.

Pretty much all the calls on both phones are Cali and Az (previous and current local).

Is the final release coming out today?

Tune in to this thread to find out!

17.4 RC on my 13PM on Saturday.
Around 3h of SOT was on low power mode watching HBO Max (and the show was already downloaded so it wasn’t streaming in real time) 😍
Today it’s slightly better, I have 19% left with 5:51 SOT but almost 8h at work I had low power mode turned on.
Once again, thank you apple!

Edit: sorry, was supposed to post it in the other thread.

Excuse me, @cigz but, how on earth are 5h of screen on time a good mark for an iPhone 13 Pro Max? I get almost 8h out of my small SE3 in iOS 16. I don’t understand.

Is it good for you as well @Tomas1988? At least you get 7h of Screen On time at 50%, which is pretty good (14 hours of SOT).

I was hoping we would get the public release today. With the beta releases of TV, Watch, and Mac, I wonder if they might just release everything next week. Strange schedule.

I was being sarcastic. I’ve been complaining about battery life on my 13 Pro Max since iOS 17.0 DB7 I believe. I’m getting half or more than a half less battery life I used to get before iOS 17. Nothing fixed it I even erased everything TWICE and started my phone from new without restoring anything and it’s still the same. And I don’t play any games.
I am thinking of downloading genshin impact to check how long this phone would last, an hour? Lol

Anyway, except battery life, this one feels solid, I haven’t had any major bugs except still having random WiFi drops that I started to have on iOS 17.3.

We should get it today (Tuesday, 5 March), most likely preceded by the new iPads announcement.

To stay tuned, see this iOS 17 release schedule dedicated thread:

This morning I purchased several songs on iTunes. Initially after the purchase was approved the $1.29 price button changed to a play button. But then they reverted back to the $1.29 button. I checked my Music app and none of the songs were shown in my library, neither the main library nor the downloaded library list. I went back to iTunes, tapped that $1.29 button again then got the message that I had already purchased the song and did I want to download it again for free. I tapped download and checked the Music app again but none of the songs were shown. I checked my wife’s phone and ipad and all songs appear there in her Music app. We use the same Apple ID for such purchases. All our non-beta, 17.4, devices have the purchased songs in the Music Library.

I signed out of the media and purchases ID and signed back in. This actually got the new songs to appear in my Library on both iphone and ipad. Thinking perhaps that this was a temporary glitch I went back to the iTunes Store and made another purchase but the same thing happened. The price button reverted to the price again and tapping that just got the you’ve already purchased this but it never shows up in the Music Library of the 17.4 devices. It does on all our non-beta devices.

Just wondering if anyone else has this issue: when any device is playing a track and you ask Siri to favourite it (Siri favourite this track) as it has always been, it no longer does that and says okay here’s a station just for you.

It’s done this for the last few releases. Anyone else?

This happened to me the other day. Frustrating...

Anyone else having an issue with playback over bluetooth pausing shortly after pressing play? I've noticed this quite a bit starting with RC. I'll press play on my music (doesn't matter if I press the button on my iPhone or if I play via a controls on my airpods/bluetooth devices). As soon as I press play, it will play for a few seconds, then pause itself automatically without me touching anything.

Thanks for confirming. Siri just gets worse. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the whole team responsible should be sacked. I could crap better code!
