The release came yesterday, although it’s possible Apple has another release in store that may come next week as well.
17.5 RC is as solid as it gets for an RC so I highly doubt a revised build number will go out to the public next week. I also went ahead and installed the latest WatchOS RC on my Apple Watch. As far as Battery life on the iPhone goes, it is on par with what it was on the 17.4.1 on my 15 Pro.

They just released watchOS 10.5 RC 2

Yea I just saw that right after I made that post, surprised to see another rc come out so soon! I don’t think we’ll see another rc for iOS come today, Tim must be exhausted after cranking out all these rc’s the past two days. I’m hoping to see 17.6 come out next week, but fine with waiting another month for the big release of iOS 18, when that comes it’s going to create a huge splash, I can’t wait!

Have just created a new Lock Screen and I can’t see the alarm widget anywhere in the widget list. I still have it on my other lock screens.

Anyone else have this problem?

I am seeing it under Clock - last widget item under clock.

Not seeing it. Have done a hard reset too. It’s usually where the Spotify widget is.

It’s ok I’ve found it. Had to tap on the clock icon. Doh!

Tim must be exhausted from so much squatting during the presentation.

Battery life has been marginally better on my 15 Pro, not amazing. Photos app has been the top app draining battery since updating to this beta. Maybe it’ll settle down.

Ugh… went from 17.4.1 to 17.5 RC and now iMessage audio recordings sent from me sound terrible: very low quality and scratchy and echoey. Really bad.

The person I’m sending audio messages back and forth with is still on 17.4.1 and his messages sound crisp and clear and sharp, but mine suddenly sound terrible. It’s definitely a 17.5 thing.

Very, very disappointing.

Did you already restart the iPhone one more time? If it's still like that, it's likely a hardware defect that just appeared coincidentally.

I concur in regards to the battery life. My 14 Pro Max has been going strong.

RC vs last beta, RC is so much better for me.

Was having to charge my IPhone 15PM midway through the day most days but seems to be (so far) much better.

I installed OTA for the previous beta but installed from IPSW this time around.

Same here. Battery was terrible on beta 4 and RC fixed it

I’ve started getting notified about my own AirTags being with me. Not sure what happened…
