My health tanked from 97 a few weeks ago to 94. I suspect the last few betas. But phone is fine otherwise. I can always replace the battery under my Apple care. But idk if I’d do a beta again.

To be honest, you probably won’t notice much difference in how long the battery’s last you in a day until you hit around the 85% mark. That’s when I was charging twice a day on my 12, so I decide to get a new bat then.

It’s also a shock right, when it’s been 100% then it drops to say 97%. Your brain automatically thinks I’m there’s something wrong. When it’s just registering your cycle counts. You might see that hold for a few months, then a pattern of dropping till it holds again.

It really only becomes a problem when your having to charge so often, otherwise, look after your battery’s and use them to enjoy your device.

Iphone 12, Public Beta 6...Took off charger at 6 am used for about 30 minutes and was at 99% when I plugged into Carplay on the way to work. Smart charging seems broken---charged to 100% and 2.5 hrs later still 100%. Battery life the best out of all betas. However, is anyone having problems with "smart charging"?

Battery health has stayed at 95% for the past 3 months or so. Not affected by Betas.

I’ve had horrible battery life on the last 2 betas on my 14 Pro. It seems that my home screen/ wallpaper is killing my battery. Is this normal? Is it my AOD maybe?

By Factory Reset, do you mean volume up, volume down then hold power button?

Dropped another % today to 93.

That’s 7% dropped in a month.

Just looked back when I sold my 13 Pro. I got it at launch, sold it the day after 14 pro launch. It was at 100% and only dropped to 98% after I’d restored to sell.

Hop it doesn’t drop below 90% in the next few weeks or that’s when it loses value with cash for mobile trade in places

I ‘ve dropped by a similar amount throughout beta testing on my 12PM, but i am now below 80%. I’ve booked in for a new battery fitting.

My only complaint outside the normal issues with betas is iPhone 13PM on 17b8 my phone gets so hot while charging regardless if wired or wireless charging.

Really hoping for bigger batteries and significantly improved battery life on the 15 series. These last two betas have not been good for battery life on my 14PM. I’ve been having to charge during the evening just to make it last till bedtime.

I’m down to 96% on a 10 month old 13P. Most of the time, I don’t let it drop below 20% and charge it up to 80%. Today it was up to 86%. I have never fully drained the battery on this phone.

Batteries age and deteriorate with time regardless of the fact that you fully drain the phone or not.
Imho, 96% for a nearly one year old phone doesn't seem to be excessive. My 11-months old AW Ultra is at 97%.

Finally battery life is back to be as good as the first versions of iOS 16. Hoping the final version next week after the event stays the same.

I don't know what they changed.
When I bought my 14 Pro Max in early February this year, the battery life was significantly better than it is now with iOS 16.6.

Before that I had an iPhone 13 Pro and the battery life was significantly better with the 14 Pro Max which is the main reason I bought it.
But over time and updates, I ended up feeling about the same battery life with iOS 16.6 as with the 13 Pro. But now I feel like I finally have a 14 Pro Max again.

Well… my iPhone 13 Pro Max can’t relate. 20% left and it’s not even 6h SOT.
It’s been like that since beta 7 and I don’t do anything resource heavy like playing games or something.
So I actually do hope RC will change whatever they’re doing with the last 2 betas
